True, there are a fair amount of quest lines there to do, those should give you a good amount of xp and money too. You get the sledgemallet there after getting enough faction at the Shipyard and finishing a questline, another handy teleport item, although a bit silly to use. (it teleports you during a fight, it's not a clicky item but a proc one)
I like Jarsath Wastes, a huge zone, lots of nice sights and good questlines. There are even a couple of good jewelery items you can buy there when you got enough faction.
