Question about Open Beta -> LaunchFollow

Was curious how this is going to work. I went to pre-purchase and it requested a log in, I tried to log in with the same info I use for my beta account, no go. I then proceeded to create a log in, with the exact same log in name and email. So my question is this, will I be playing early access/open beta with my beta log in, and then when the game launches have to recreate via the other log in? It's all very confusing that they have so many different websites / log ins.

Just trying to straighten it out if anyone has any insight, I'd hate to do all that work in open beta and not get to keep it for silly reasons like this. Thanks in advance for any help, not sure if this makes sense or if i'm just confusing myself and it's quite simple.

Right, but purchasing the pre-order required me to create an entire new account, and it used the same log in name password email etc, so SE has like 10 different sites that are all different? Its confusing, is the pre purchased game stuck on beta account , or on the new one I had to create to pre purchase...I have no idea >.>
