I thought Ultros was the Zam server?

Edit: Or is that only for beta?

Ultros is a "new only" server. Legacy characters cannot move to Ultros.

ZAM on Ultros will not include any legacy characters. We're sorting ourselves on the designated Legacy servers through other means.

Question: When our Version 1.0 characters get transferred and are available in Phase 4, Do we get the opportunity to change what they looked like from before? Can we change their race, sex, attributes, signs, ect? Or are they going to just port them over "as is"?

Don't quote me on this, but from what I've read you can do all that when the game lunches. I believe you are stuck with what you have for phase 4. Could be wrong :P

Although I live in Europe and Ragnarok was a recommendation I went for Excalibur. Feels like I'd rather be on an NA/EU server that is full of people than an empty "EU" server. Especially considering it seems like the servers are at the same location either way.

Any plans for a Zam LS on Excalibur?

You'll be fine, though I'm American, so I think every other continent is right next to each other.

I wanted to go to Ultros and run around with the rest of the Zam heathens but I got outvoted in my LS, so Hyperion here I come!

From the Beta Forums:

[NA]Status of World Transfer Applications Closed for Masamune and Aegis Worlds

We would like to notify our players that, in regards to the ongoing World transfer applications, the Masamune and Aegis Worlds has approached the maximum number of applications allowed.

Please be aware that we have stopped accepting applications for Masamune and Aegis Worlds. Because of this, please also consider transferring to a different World.

* If applications from the Masamune and Aegis Worlds to other Worlds increase, we may accept further applications for the two Worlds after reviewing their population count.

World Application Status (06/28/2013)

Below is a list of Worlds available for World transfer and their current status.

Screenshot

Although the Masamune and Aegis worlds reached the maximum number of applications allowed on June 25, a number of applicants have chosen to transfer from Masamune and Aegis to other Worlds. In light of this, we will begin accepting applications again for the two Worlds.

However, because of the high population on these two Worlds compared to others, we plan to stop accepting applications again on July 1.

Players considering moving to Masamune or Aegis are encouraged to apply for a World transfer as soon as possible. Furthermore, if you are planning to transfer with a group such as a linkshell, there is a possibility all members may not be accommodated. For this reason, we ask that you consider an alternative World to transfer to as well.

If the number of applications for transfers from Masamune and Aegis to other Worlds increases, we may consider accepting applications after reviewing World population counts.

Please review the details of the world transfer process.
Proceed to the World Transfer Application Page.

Cool. I am on Excalibur already. If anyone needs a tour, let me know. There isn't anything different from server to server but I can make it seem like there is. Smiley: nod
