So, I also got the email about "Return to Final Fantasy XIV and experience a realm reborn" in which it states that "All players who hold a service account from Version 1.0 have been granted access to the beta test." However when I try to log in to the beta forums it says that "You could not log in because that service account has been cancelled.". I tried to re-activate my service accounts of FFXIV and still doesnt work. Anyone else had similar problems?

I really want to get to download my FFXIV client and get to play next weekend :/.

I also got the email for ARR and there is no link on there to the beta forums.

FFXIV: ARR is currently in the beta testing stage, with plans to begin the third phase of testing on June 14, 2013. All players who hold a service account from Version 1.0 have been granted access to the beta test.

We welcome all players from Version 1.0 to download the beta client and see the myriad changes in FFXIV: ARR.

* Additional information regarding how to participate in the beta test will be sent at a later date.

The part after the * would mean that they will be sending you a email with your beta registration key as well as access to the forums. Did you sign up for beta access earlier? If not you wont get access even though they say all v1 accounts are eligible.

Hmm all I can say is then you will need to wait a bit longer. Keep checking your email periodically through out the day or next few days. They might be staging those with a v1 account on when they get access. Really don't know was all ready in the phase 2 beta.

You wont be able to join the beta until phase 4 since you cancelled your service account. That's your problem. When servers went down, they made it to where people could not cancel or begin a new service account. They will open it again closer to the release of ARR, but for now you're stuck. If you had not cancelled your service account, you would have been able to take part in phase 3.

Is it so <.<

Well i guess no beta for me this time either then. Its weird you would've needed to have an active account as at least i didnt want to pay for the v1.0 back then hence why i cancelled it so i wouldnt have to pay.

I wouldn't take that as a guarantee. See if you get a followup email today or tomorrow. You can still throw a beta application in. Won't hurt except potentially taking 2.

I have a strong feeling all 1.0 players will be given a followup code in an email even if they don't apply.
If you got the come back email, you are most likely in.

Wait, so we had to have payed for a month of 1.0 to be considered for a beta invite as a 1.0 account owner? Because I unsubbed after a few days realizing how bad it was, lol.

That mean I won't be seeing phase 3?

my account only has this in it's history...

I am in the same situation.

In the email it says:
After phase 3 begins on June 14, 2013, players will also be granted access to The Lodestone regardless of service account status

I will try after June 14.

That is very incorrect, sir.

I reckon it's more because of the massive number of beta testers that the email with registration code is coming late (like, 700k?).

Lol I still have a high suspicion that is more like 200k, with a few players applying 10-20 times and maybe some rmt applying hundreds. I hope its 750 real players though.
