Not sure if this is old news or not, but I just turned on my PS3 and saw this ad up in PS Store. For those of you waiting for a beta invite and want to increase your chances, this looks like a good option. Good luck!

Can't figure out how to post the image in the thread . . . The standard doesn't seem to work. Sorry!

You need to upload the image to your images folder (at the top right when you hover over your user name and click images) then use the tag the uploader gives you.

Hmmm . . . For some reason I can't download it. I keep getting stuck at 99%, it won't budge from there. Anyone else having this issue?

Awesome find. Downloaded as soon as I saw this! I actually haven't had the chance to watch the trailer yet (work blocks all the good stuff) so its win-win for me.

Edit - My download completed just fine. Watching now.

I think it just increases your chance of getting into Phase 3 of beta for PS3. The ad in the store says it is a "chance" at getting the PS3 beta, so no idea.

My download finally finished, I hope I get in! Been dying to play, and after this video? I am pumped!

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

I LOVE that they have this as a major headline and the first thing you see when you click the games tab on the store, great move for publicity. Also it had 2300+ ratings when I looked an hour ago (most people don't bother to rate either). That's good for only being in the store for a few hours. (Rating averages 4.5ish stars too out of 5!)

I downloaded the PS3 video and I have to say, the trailer looked even better on a full screen TV at 1080p than on the YouTube I saw earlier.

I downloaded the video. Was there something else to it that I'm missing on you getting the better chance at a beta code?

Thanks, ran and now downloading it while on the phone with Gamestop. The store said their code isn't showing up on the receipt. Square Enix hasn't given the codes to Gamestop yet. Sigh.

When FF11 came out, I used my lunch break to run to Gamestop and get it. My body was vibrating that first day!

Most depressing.

After seeing this thread I went and fired up my ps3.

No reference to ARR at all.

Must be because I am in Australia though it is disappointing that SE and Sony are not pushing the game here as well as in the US.

I no longer doubt that preordering ps3 ce was a good move. That video looks amazing on my tv. I'm not even upset that I didn't get the beta code.

US accounts only. Had to make a new PSN account just to see it. :( No Canada.
