Fire Wizard or Eldritch?Follow

eldritch is a much better toon...more to the game then nuking, and eldritches don't lack in that department, but if a fire wizzy can nuke better, it is not by much...what else a light eld can do are what makes this a no contest.

Stun, Mezz, Disease, NS, Pbaoe, AoE, Spec Nuke

I've played both, Other than a Fire Wiz you should look into an Earth Spec's Wiz with secondary spec in Fire. The Earth bolt is just as good as the Fire spec'd one and you get Nearsight, DD Snare and a really nice DoT.

Eldritch Light spec for RvR gets some nice toys as well. The mez and a hard hitting DD as well as the Nearsight. No strong bolts but the caster that gets off Nearsight first wins in my opinion.

Each class has strengths and weaknesses abd both are fun to play. Pick the one where you'll have the most fun.
