When Do I start seeing people???Follow

#1 May 08 2006 at 7:39 PM Rating: Decent
Okay, im only a lvl 5 viking... I find this game has hardly any people, at least where I am, and lvling places are far from trainers. Money is hard to come by, and a weapon for me is 26s, when I get maybe 3c per kill...

Okay, real question: When do I start seeing large amounts of people fighting in a huge war like the RvR style implies?

I dont know what server you are one but quit and come to lancelot and make an Albion. Contact someone from Shadow Force by doing the command /who shadow. Tell them Haleis sent you and you are seeking membership. Also go to Shadowforce.guildportal.com and apply for membership. I'll try to get you in and we are all more than willing to give you some pointers and help.

Okay, this is an older game and most people are Level 50. Although it is common for people to create new toons and level them up, they do not do them in the areas you are talking about. People who are new to the game have to start here, but unfortunately, you are one of the few.

Eventually, when you start getting higher in levels, you can go to Thidranki (level 20-24). On almost any server, this is populated. This is sort of mini-RvR for people of that level. It is a fun and exciting place, and it should be something you can shoot for.

As for money, yes, it is ridiculous how expensive things are at a low level and how little money you make. I would suggest going to the Catacombs Instance dungeons. These dungeons give aurulite and cash as rewards for killing monsters, and you can buy stuff witht he aurulite.

Try to tough it out. The game does get much better, but unlike something like WoW, where leveling is part of the game, this game really begins once you hit 50.

I just started DAoC about 4 days ago having some crash and lag issues, but when it does allow me to run free, it's a kick *** game.

I was wondering anybody play on Percival the RPG server, I'm trying to find a guild since I don't mind solo'ing but it does get tiring and dying by yourself isn't as fun.

Hmm you might try going to VN BOARDS and advertising you are looking for a guild.
