eh, most of those posters aren't all that helpful. Lolgaxe for one just is popular because of joke posts, he really doesn't do much besides that-heck he got nominated again and doesn't even play the game. Nil-well i don't really see him post much period these days and I never see him give advice. It seems like most of the recent nominations at best are helpful in one job forum. Even then, someone like kerberoz or asdrabel despite being abrasive tend to be actual better players. I may not agree with either but they do know their stuff, even loib too. Someone like tummie, elmer, or others go without saying.

Its cool if its a popularity contest, whatever works to make users hap[y. It just was odd to see victrola nominated for being a troll.

I'm pretty active in the job forums actually. I think that's why I get nominated, but whatever. jtftaru dosn't like me because I mock him, simple as that.

I remember a while ago, =10 rose up because of the evil +1ers! Zomg! People don't seem to realise, when people like me move in to derail a thread it's because that thread is no longer useful. That or it wasn't useful in the first place(See: Any and all "ZOMG WUT JAWB DO I PLAY?!" threads).

I help where I can, I make fun of people who are stupid/way too serious. It's who I am, and it works for me. If you don't like it, fine, complain about it in threads like this. You should know though, that approach only leads to me +1ing innocuously at you. Ironicly, it seems to annoy you into posting at me more, thus leading to me, and people like me, to +1 again. Further annoying you.

Yes, I'd like to win PotM at least once, then again who wouldn't? It's kind of a nice thing to be seriously nominated for it. Makes me realise the effort I put into helping fledgeling MNKs(and to a slightly lesser extent, WARs) isn't falling on deaf ears.

Why do you just make things up when you live on a message board where everything is date and time stamped in chronological order?

I didn't even know who you were until two months ago. Then someone created a thread about Avesta. For the first page, everyone was talking happily about soloing feats before you and lolgaxe joined the thread. You both proceeded to call everyone who said anything positive about Avesta a ****** and pronounced that the only people who watched his videos were simple minded followers.

Not surprisingly you both got rated down through the floor so much so you ran to the admins and asked for a rate bot check. (How's that coming along by the way?)

I tried to explain to you why you got rated down but you just insulted me for about 3 pages then the thread got locked.

Ever since then you have held a bitter hateful grudge against me, for some reason holding me responsible for your ratedowns. It's clearly eating you up and all you think about at night. When you're not making some snide remark you're making joke nominations to persuade everyone you're having a great time 'for the lulz' whatever that means. But you're not fooling anyone.

It's been 2 months Nilatai. Let it go. You got rated down because you were rude, obnoxious and unpleasant to a load of people who did nothing to warrant it. That behaviour is why so many people don't like you, myself included.

The thing that sticks out in my mind about that day though was your total inability to understand why people didn't appreciate you calling them retarded and Avesta worshipping fools. You seriously thought they would appreciate your sage advice and that what you were saying was somehow right, just because you were saying it.

Although you ruined the thread, as your type always do, it was a wonderful example of the mentality of the forum turds who give this place its reputation.

You want to be able to insult everyone and everyone should thank you for it and think you're great as you're somehow superior and your word is gospel.

All you are Nilatai is a nasty, unpleasant nerd with an opinion who can't bear the fact not everyone thinks the same way you do. Just like all the others like you on the Internet who behave exactly the same way.

Like I said before, you got your circle jerk/Allakatard reputation long before I got here. I never gave it to you. In each of your threads there have been multiple people having a go at you. Not just me. In the site revision threads, many people have said more needs to be done about people like you.

This site, the Internet and the world are full of people who don't like your kind. Nothing to do with me.

And I repeat, no one wants to take away your precious ability to +1 or even insult people.

But your mentality is that you should be able to behave how you wish and no one should ever comment on it, you should be able to attack whomever you like and no one should ever stop you or say anything.

You guys keep going on about 'the Internet is serious business' and 'it's only the Internet' but 2 months after a thread where you got rated down you're still hysterical about it.

You keep saying how proud you are to be an ***, but when people call you an ***, you try to justify and defend yourself for 3 pages making yourself out to be some sort of victim.

Be nice or be a ****, your choice. But if you can't bear it when you act like an idiot and someone points it out, get off the Internet and stop fouling up these forums with your maudlin self-pitying whining.

I'm still surprised I got nominated, albeit less so because I think someone from the Garuda server forum apparently did it.

Other than Nilatai, bsphil, and Jinte, I don't think alot of the people either know or care who I am anyway.

It's kind of funny/sad the number of people who seem to fail to realize that there are other FFXI-related forums on Allakhazam besides =10.

It's so funny how he tries to use my own words against me, all the while failing to grasp the meaning behind them.

You see, people like you make me laugh. You go on and on about how you are morally better than someone you disagree with. If you'll notice, I never once said I was better than you. I said you think you're better than me, which is pretty funny. I'm not better than you. No one man is better than any other man. We're all clusters of carbon atoms held together by various forces known to science. We lead our lives in total ignorance to the fact that, on a cosmic scale, we're so small and unimportant its almost sad.

What do you get out of harassing us because you don't like the way we do things? I really do want to know. You don't really seem to realize that we lead you around in circles just to see your reaction to the things we say. You're like a pathetic little puppy really, being lead around on a leash and forced to do tricks, all the while fooled into thinking that you're amazing.

Let me tell you why I'm an ***, though.

You see, competition is engraved into our nature, as humans. This is true of most mating animals of the world. We seek to better ourselves in the eyes of the world for the sake of seeming to be better than our opponent and thus, increasing our chance to procreate and further the species. Assholery is a way of bettering oneself.

I'm not saying "I act like an ******* because it gets me laid!" I'm saying "I've accepted my nature as a human being, and I don't see any reason why I should fight it."

We're no better than animals, really. If anything, we're worse. We destroy our home, we find pleasure in the torture of others, both human and animal, and sometimes plants or fungi. We are a disgusting species. People preach about morality and love, but it's all a load of ********* The very fact that we both know the word evil, and have a meaning for it, is proof enough of that. Love and morality, at the very base level, are just a means to an end, and that end is reproduction.

So really, I'm the human one here, as I have accepted reality. You, riding on your little high-horse, however, are in denial of the truth. There really is no purpose to our lives. The solar system won't notice when we're gone, let alone the universe.

What are you drivelling about Nilatai? The guy posted a picture about his Moogle having a glitch in it and was jumped on by a few people for spelling a word wrong. In return a few other people had a go at them for it.

In the 1000+ posts I have done, I have 'leapt in and defended people' precisely twice. Once when you mass insulted a load of people for admiring Avesta's videos and once for the Moogle glitch guy.

What's any of that got to do with defending stupid people or knowing how to play FFXI?
