Lag in movies, a few people have this problem and it can be a real pain and ***** up the whole idear of filming,wether it be for a simple WS video or a whole peice.

I have got lag while filming in certain areas and have had to scrap the video after viewing.
I can give some advice, but its all quite comman sense anyway.
Biggest thing i could say is adjust the recording software your using to not record game sound.

If your using fraps, set it to Half size and not full size on the movie tab, or though i wouldnt recomend it, drop the FPS from 30 to a lower number.

Other things to do are the easy and most simple things, make sure you have no programmes running in the background.
Dont film in over crowded zones that already get a bit of lag.
Defrag your machine because raw footage takes a lot of space and i got over 21 gigs of it on my main drive right now.

As per the Text and effects, i have no idear what video programme your using, if its an easy to use one then it should be as simple as putting text into a Paint programme, find the text command, get to a place in your film project you want the text to go, adjust how the text is to be placed and slot it in.
Effects wise its each to their own, some effects can difine a movie while some can really ruin it. Just because its your first video dont make yourself feel that you have to go overboard on visual effects, it could make it unwatchable if its all BANG BANG quik cuts.

My advice, if its your first video, take it slow. get it right in your own mind and make it simple. After that put it on the net, see the critisim(even if its bad it is good for you to know what people want and what you can improve upon).

but yeah, thats about it. i have to goto work now /sigh

Bizerump. The problem is nothing to worry about unless the graphics are REALLY bad. Otherwise its the digital sizing making the pixels to darn big.

managed to get some good footage for video today,

including Behemoth going Down ^^ loads of tonberry action and also the NM in Tonberry dungeon.

had no idaer that the quest i was doing would spawn an NM, would have checked it out before hand if i wasnt in a rush LOL...glad it only killed my Dark Knight friend and i got the hell out lol.

but yeah looks top notch and will be included in video that i am working on.

now i just need to film some demons and some new COP areas and ill get right into it :)
