CBD, I'm obviously not going to change your mind and you aren't going to change mine. I'm telling you, I *could* have been attracted to men had I chose to. I didn't chose to. Take it or leave it. (Not to sound rude.)
Saboruto, whoa man. Calm down there. I'm not telling anyone that they chose or didn't chose to be or not be homosexual. I am saying, in my case, I didn't chose to be. You say that you were born homosexual, I don't understand that, but I respect it. To me, you are a regular person and due to certain factors you are homosexual. You are an intelligent person and are to be respected and understood.

My problem, though, is that it's unfair that I should have to fight so much harder to be acknowledged and given the respect I deserve.
Unfortunately, yes. Some people in this world are NOT as understanding. People are not capable of understanding that people are different. This difference,
regardless as viewed as being right or wrong is to be tolerated. Some people can't see passed certain things. Fortunately, I haven't done anything (or born a certain way) that warrents fighting to be acknowledged and respected. I don't condone homosexuality, so I won't encourage certain things, I do encourage everyone to be respect of differences and tolerable.
After posting here, I very much respect everyone who posted on this thread. Knowing a population of people exist in this forum, and can debate such topics without resorting to stereotypical slams or derogatory terms, is very hopeful and encouraging to me. Soon, I get off work so I will no longer be able to post.
So I leave saying the only thing that really matters : You don't need to understand homosexuals. They are people, for some reason or another they are different from you. That is ok. Tolerence and respect go a long ways.
