How do I kill or survive heroic adventures as a level 85 Magician??
I always get 2 or 3 mobs at a time, pet dies then I need to gate out. I tried nuke pulling adds, tried pet pulling pet with weapons add aggro and weapons that lesson aggro still adds. I have no root, snare.

I think we need more details: Which heroic adventures? Many, most are built for group completion. With a group you have access to root, calm, mez. Also, where you stand when you pull can make a difference.

The dead hills disruption of the rituals or into the hills. Pretty much impossible to get groups in current Everquest.

ok,I don't see you having mez or stun - unless you use a pet that stuns maybe.
You might have to level and get a higher pet to do this solo.
Keep looking for friends you can hang out with and make the game fun over time.
