Friday - a Happy exp grind in Veksar with chums. Close enough to Ding 62 I can taste it.

Saturday - Levelled the weenies for a while in Gunthak (Got 4 of em past level 30 now) then plenty, plenty housework Smiley: frown

Sunday - No EQ; just caught up with a heap of paperwork, ironed clothes and realised there's more to life than spray starch Smiley: sleeper

Monday - RL Employer Faction Quest - Rumours abound that a planned raid will be cancelled due to the deletion of a few of the healers (Always the first to go). Last time that happened we lost a number of High Level players who we met a week later playing for a rival Guild Smiley: oyvey

Lets see. Did bunches of stuff this weekend.

Friday: Hung out with Jennock and Kavra on FV. Visited City of Mist for the first time, was fun! Made 30, got sow with little Kao. Still couldn't get big Kao transferred over.

Saturday. Loaded up SWG on the reccomendations of a certain SWG moderator. It's interesting, and has a "new" feel to me that Everquest lacks. Don't worry though, I'm not planning on abandoning everquest any time soon.

Sunday: My friend Chris brought his laptop over, and we installed homeworld 2 on it, then had a few onlyine multiplayer games. Slaughtered the competion, so we decided to take eachother on in a game. He won, but only after I took out most of his fleet. This gutted my fleet, and he was able to wipe my last battlecruiser and destroyer out with his remaining bomber reserve. Was annoying. I'll get him next time.

Monday: I'm here at work, and it is annoying. Catching up ona ll the terrorist crap from over the week that the night shift missed. Yay.

Hmmm.

Friday: No EQ. Went out of town and got really drunk and stumbled to the Best Western.

Saturday: Mmmmmm.... Waffle House on a hangover, can't be beat.
I then returned home and duoed in Dulak with my rl friend's druid. Made a little cash.

Sunday: Back to work at 6am. After work I went home and soloed Dulak for a little while. Then set up in the bazaar and watched a movie before bed.

Friday - worked till late in the evening, got a little sleep and then hunted for pelts& skins to set up at the Bazaar and push my tailoring in between looking for sales *grin*.

Saturday - made short Soloing trips to Everfrost, Southern Ro and Northern Karana (got beat up there pretty bad from a LIGHT-BLUE conning Griffawn there but will return to hunt elephants)Did some RL shopping as well as in the Bazaar later on.

Sunday - spent some time with friends and my kitties, watched some cool 90 min. about prehistoric sea "monsters" from the discovery channel on vid. Later went LDoN in Lesser Gaydork (I HATE that Unicorn - almost got me on the way to the dungeon) and set up my gal at the Bazaar so be both workin now (somehow *lol*)

Friday - Got in an Exp group in PoI... nice little group except my poor level 55 shaman was expected to slow, heal, buff and haste the entire group... very stressfull times I did hit 56 though.

Saturday - Did my first hard LDoN... we didn't complete it, but the experience was good and there were no deaths.

Sunday - Go an LDoN group and waited for about 45 minutes for the chanter to show up, then our one and only tank went LD and couldn't get back on... quit the group and logged.

Not a bad weekend, except for sunday.

Lots of people out of town for the long weekend.

Did a ton of LDoN - burning affliction (DoT extender) augment is in sight now but just out of reach.

Leveled my new iksar shaman and my dusty ranger up from 24-30 in Paw - shaman was slow going so I brought the ranger out for dps and as it turns out they're a pretty good team. While Sami raided yesterday little Faux sat in Cab and made up ground on her casting skills so she can actually use her new spells.

PoWater stuff Saturday evening and Rathe Council yesterday - short handed on healing for Rathe, which made for a wild event.

Starting to poke around (finally!) and get a VP key together for both Samira and Zasan. There are seven, well, six and a half elemental guilds on our server now, and VP is sounding like a nice place to go these days.

Friday night - Lady went out clubbin so it was a totall emersion night of EQ. Got keyed for HoH and Drunder and had an EXCELLENT Guild group in HoH basement. So good that we had to pull from upstairs because the pops couldnt keep up with the mass killing. dinged 7th AA unexpectadly because i forgot to turn it off from my soloing in PoN (GREAT AAxp via charming a raven and killing trees and spiders. 2-3% aaxp per kill.) After i turned reg exp back on i dinged and got allmost 40% into 59. group broke up after afew hours and i hit a LDoN around 1am. finished it in about an hour right as the woman walked thru the door. hit the sack a happy EQer.

Saturday - Raid Day. Went to Torgiran Mines to kill Overlord Ngrub. Flawless kill. got some screenies but they are filled with spell effects. reminder to self: turn off them friggin things for a good SS. after we nailed him to the floor we went to Veksar to try our hand at Garudon. Got him to 20% or less (i think it was much less by the time i ate it), befor we ate it. Tried again and ate it AGAIN. (couldnt stay around for the second one. had a bday party to go to) Want to head back there and nail his bony *** to the floor something fierce......

Sunday - Raid Day again. PoSky for Epic bits. 2 happy Necs, one with the spiroc feather and one with the feather and cape.

All in all an EXCELLENT EQ weekend.....

Bleah, bleah and double bleah.

Friday night I pretty much wasted waiting on a friend who never arrived. It's all cool, turns out she got wrapped up with some friends from out of town, but it doesn't leave much to report on. I did get my mage her broom from Najena though.. heh

Saturday was another waste. Supposed to raid, not many showed up and most of those who did were equipped above the potential drops anyway. Think I wound up farming something.

Sunday was more a fiasco that Friday and Saturday combined. Supposed to have a raid. Raid gets held up for two hours due to stupid crap. People get (understandably) upset. Other people get upset at first people being upset. Can we say "drama"? Finally, I skipped out with a friend and ran the Pureblood quest in Nadox again (did it last weekend for someone else). Ran a couple LDoNs with people I haven't grouped with in a while which was fun, if not really profitable since we got scammed on named.

On a side note, an old friend atempted to sway me into his raiding guild this weekend. Told him I'd keep it in mind, but I don't know if I really keep a good schedule for constant raiding. Still something to think about.

Friday - Finished getting all the medallions for the VP key quest in the morning. Later that night I was asked for some damage output on a Trak kill (woohoo). Found out it was for the UDB Trak, oh well it was still fun. We only had one tank and a couple of healers. No biggie, between the three wizards, three mages and five rogues Trak didn't last long enough for me to even get a second nuke off.

Saturday - Saw Along Came Polly. Cute movie, better than what the reviewers claimed. EQ wise we headed back to Solusek Ro's tower. The Protector of Dresolik was an interesting fight. We didn't read the spoilers on this site so dealing with the 4 guardians was weird but we got something figured out that worked.

Sunday - Did a bit of LDoN and tried to get the Maidens Eye VT shard. Later the guild found Saryrn up so we headed there. On the way up we got a couple of those nice caster earrings to drop and since they weren't an upgrade I held off putting my name in for them. Later after Saryrn was dead we found out she dropped this which I so desperately wanted. Since there were 5 mages at the raid naturally I put my name in the bucket for it. A few minutes later I'm dancing in my chair, happy mage, happy mage = WOOHOO!

Now comes the tough part. Go spend my remaining ldon points to get another pet focus for the orb or keep my orb of the swiftwind with the dpoc and just swap the two back and fourth when I'm summoning a pet.

I had an awesome EQ weekend, full of firsts for me.

Friday night: was only a few % from dinging 46, and when I did my friend logged his 65 bard on and showed me around the Plane of Tranquility and the four other planes I could get to from there. Had never seen them before, so it was pretty exciting to me.

Saturday: joined my first guild! A really cool group of people, the first thing we did was go to Castle Mistmoore (which I had never been to) to pop Xicotl for pally epics that two pallys needed. We actually got him to pop twice in about an hour, and he dropped the item both times. Went to Splitpaw after that so one of the pallys could do a turn-in, but for some reason it didn't work. Apparently he lost faction somewhere or something like that happened and he didn't realize it. So now he has to start all over. Big bummer.

Sunday: went on my first raid ever at noon. I logged on nice and early but then while coming back from the bazaar I went LD hard. After being kicked out I couldn't even go online at all. I ended up having to call the cable company, although the solution was pretty simple: I just had to unplug the cable modem and router, wait, and plug them back in. Pretty weird though. I logged back on and ran to Chardok to join the raid, which was another place I had never been to before (fortunately I have all the maps downloaded). The raid was more or less a "test" raid, since we only had 12 people and no chanters, but we made it to the bridge outside the library in a little over an hour and no deaths, so it was a great mini-success. Was told by someone that I was one of the best Beastlords he had ever seen played, because most of them solo and don't know how to group. I almost hope that he was just being flattering, because of course I just played they way I always do. I'd rather think I was just average and he just had bad experiences before.

Anyway, after logging on in the evening I got my Pottery up to 120, so I am pretty much ready to make Vials of Velium Vapors, but the bazaar prices are sky high so I'll have to do some farming. Ended up going to Dulak with some other new guildies (never been there before either!), and started the LoY Beastlord spell quest but was confused as to the area where the wolf spawns, so we skipped it on the way in, and on the way back invisibility broke on one person so we had to hightail it outta there. But now that I know where it is it shouldn't be a problem to get it at some point. Dinged 47 in Dulak too, so I still have 5 levels until I can use the first LoY spell. Yes, for some reason on Beastlords the first one is the level 52 one and the second, much much harder one, is the level 44 one. At least, I think Beastlords are unique that way, perhaps not.

Monday: at work today, but I discovered that I can use TEQIM to access my guild's chat channel, so my productivity will suffer anew! At least most people aren't on during the day, but perhaps I will be able to attend guild meetings when otherwise I couldn't, although they'd have to use the chat channel instead of the guildchat, which probably isn't worth doing. Unless there are other people that can't leave work early to make guild meetings like me, in which case it could work out.

Great weekend for me, I really had fun. Sorry for the long post though...

Game on,

First weekend up date for me i think - but I reached a huge milestone, for me anyway.

Finally very late saturday night, with alot of help from friends and passing stangers downed the evil bastage Lucan - he died like the sniveling coward he is. goodbye lucan.

Even more finally very EARLY sunday morning went and had a little chat with young Brother Hayle - i've never been so scared of messing something up in my whole life (well eq life but pretty close call). Okay trust me even at 52, cold and alone in the early morn splitpaw is a nerve wracking place especially when you know that cell door is gona slam shut behind you. Yes you've read it up, you've been told about it, you know what you have to do - but omg the doubts run rampant:)

So yes, i am now the proud owner of my first step - Soulfire - and yes i did do the taking screenshots, and showing him off and leting him taste some blood all of which felt good, I earned him - but now I guess he'll rest with brother Ghoulbane until the time is right for my next step.

Also rolled the ugliest ogre shammy you ever set eyes on - but I think shes gona be fun - untwinked and full set of newbie armor at three! Either times have changed or I learned something along the way.

Oh and Oneiromancer - i remember my first trip to pot well, all I wanted to do was sit down and have a picnic and i still get the same feeling every time i zone in now, its a beautiful peacefull place - i love it.

Damn & Blast. I had typed a lengthy composition about how good the weekend had been and lots of stuff about healing tanks in LDoN and the PC froze and it is all gone Smiley: bah

So here is the short verion. Aesten the new cleric made it to 42. Celeni the old Druid made it to 61 (Moonfire yahooo!)

Met the dumbest Mage you are ever likely to meet in your whole life. Formed a group and invited too many people. Then had the wrong level mix. Finally get into the dungeon and he announces that he never uses nukes, only uses a pet. We ask him to use an earth pet to help with rooting (the group had no snarer), he says he hasn't got one. Then half way through the mission he announces that he has to go to bed, When challenged he retorts in a wounded fashion, but it is 1.30 am I have to go to bed and gates out.???? I met two people that day who went on my "never to group with ever list" the mage and an enchanter who slunk off with the all of the loot.

Celeni went to PoV Outer Caves and pulled/kited for a for a razorfiend beast/thing group. She felt very grown up and pleased with her self. We later had a 65 Necro join the group so he took over kiting duties, Celeni looked forward to showing off her new found nuking uberness, when she noticed the Wizzy nuking for 5300+. She felt very much put back in her place, lol

From "Weekend Expectations":

Last week I dinged all my guys to 20. This weekend I hope to:

1) Train my ranger and pally in Double Attack.
2) Obtain Cassandra's Chant of Clarity and Largo's Melodic Binding for my bard.
3) Choose surnames for everyone - why not?...
4) Decide on whether I want to hunt in new places or stick with PC and Unrest.

So what did I actually do?

1) yes
2) Got Clarity only
3) Had 2 surnames rejected (Shortty Nuff and Miek Lyric'Hai), but I now have "Kikl Nekochan" - (Vah Shir Shaman)
4) Did absolutely NO hunting this weekend - and it was 3 days for me.
5) Worked on spouse faction ALL WEEKEND LONG!
6) But... Cold Mountain is a really good movie...

I did what I previously thought was impossible for me.

I dinged 60 in a kickass PoN group.

If I have time to play this week, will actually be working on AA's for a bit just because I can.

Dalli just push at least to 61. 61 is a huge boost in power for pet classes, and you will not regret it.

Personally I plan on pushing to 65 before any AA work. I kinda feel sorry for my healers since the difference between a 65 tank with tanking AA's and a 65 tank with 4 aa are huge but... /shrug.

Not too productive EQ weekend for me, though while I was on I had fun. Raids were the same as Aadynn's so I won't detail those, other than mention my love/hate relationship with PoS. Sky is fun, except when

a) Not getting enough keys to progress
b) Waiting nearly an hour on Island 4 for the Keeper to spawn
c) Not getting enough keys to progress

I like that PoS keys now don't poof, so it'll make future raids there a little easier. I still would like to clear to 7th island one day, just to say I've been there.

Other stuff:

Did HoH a couple of times, grinding a couple of AA out with my 65 War (happy owner of a Baron title, ND1, and about a yellow away from ND2). Also pushed my 61 monk from 30% to 92%. Dinged 60 with my shaman, memmed my Torpor that has been sitting in my bank, and my Focus and group Focus spells. Happy day for my buffbot!

Did a group with the worst paladin I've ever run into. Was told they had 4k (!) hit points doing PoV Golems - ouch. My 61 monk consistantly got agro from them, slowers were ping-ponging agro - was a total mess. Luckily when the cleric left about 20 minutes later I took the opportunity to get out of that group too. Was pretty sad.

Did some PL'ing of a guildie for a bit, then helped clear SF for shards for a cleric. 4 hours and zero shards = teh suxxors.

Picked up a Sword of the Bloodsworn that someone had augmented with an Anger II aug for 20k (cheer FV). Figure after I sell my warrior's unaug'd SoBS I'll end up paying about 10k for the augment. Seems a deal in my book. I'll test drive it this week and see how adding a +Hate aug helps my agro. I've been hesitant to add an Anger aug to my GSoT, worried I'd really have to use that ugly stick more! Dual wielding is so much more macho than that GSoT, and now that I have the HP to handle most xp spots, looks > riposte damage.

Playtime has been reduced lately due to home shopping/building. Just signed initial paperwork yesterday on a new home, so all the fun of picking colors, styles, tile, yada yada, await me. It's also out in the sticks, so any kind of decent internet connection had got me worried. Cant handle dial-up again...

Iluien, the real question is, did you win the adventure after Mr. Asshat Mage left? I would imagine he was mostly useless anyways.

As for my weekend, I can hardly remember what I did on each day. I think this is about it:

Friday - no clue.

Saturday - did lots o' laundry, watched Pirates of the Carribean - fun movie! After that, downloaded the Homeworld2 demo and got my feet wet.

Sunday - slow snowy day. Made chili. Guild raid hit Itraer Vius. Had a terrible time getting everyone to Akheva with trains on both sides of zone line between ME/AR. Wiped on the first try, then took the hoebag down. Roommates ******* because they wanted me to play Monopoly in the middle of the raid.

Monday (MLK Jr. Day) - I did go to work, early even!, where I answered all of 2 phone calls in 9 hours. What a freakin' waste. Got home to my guild gathering alts for Naggy. Threw my 50 ranger in. We ended up with only 9 people and some high-level buffers. Failed horribly while one of the participants ******* at how easy a single-group kill Naggy is. Seems like someone aggroed him early (though we were finished buffing) and the cleric(s) got ate first. I don't know what else happened as I was feared the entire fight, up until the point I died...right in the middle of his platform. Almost lost my body. Ah well. Maybe my necro will be big enough for the next try.

Friday - Started a new character. Female high-elf cleric (needed another cleric for second account) Got her up to level 8 (Looks great in Reinforced Acrylia)

Saturday - Rogue Ding 59 (after 6 1/2 hours at OC in POV)

Sunday - Denied chance to play.

Monday - Picked up 14% in POV EW.
