Starting Khati Sha Journeyman QuestFollow

Kery tells me to seek out Kaam Rahiir in the Libraries and show him my claws. I did that. The first time, I lost my claws and apparently the GM's restored them. The second time, I handed him my claws and he said he has no need for these items. Then he gives them back to me. How do I start this quest and get him to ask me to collect the molars from the sonic wolflings, etc.?

I'm giving him my Reinforced Khati Sha Claws, one item. Is that enough? Am I supposed to hand him anything else with the claws? Or is there something I need to say to him?

You say you are turning in just one item? Are there not Primary and Secondary versions of these claws? I believe you need to turn in both of them to get any response from Kaam Rahiir.
