all of those who are moving to the remora world:
me <50 brd> my brother <50 rng> sister in law<50 sam> and my brother's best friend <50 pld> are all leaving our server because we wnat a new start because many of our friends have left the game or rarely play, and we recently split from the linkshell we had been a part of for about a year. it seems that very few entire linkshells are moving, and that mostly its just a few individuals, we plan to set up a linkshell called Senyuu <Comerade's in Arms> and hope to get a lot of good NA players to band together in the new server so that we can all build new friendships and communities. i still love all my old pals from diabolos, but hopefully remora will have even more good friends to meet.

me and a few of my friends are also switching tomorrow, we come from asura, we already have an LS getting started up but it would be very cool if we could be brother LSs or something, look me up tomorrow or sometime as Munky or our LS leader Teeka, we'll also be looking for more members in the commin weeks, see you all in the new world tomorrow, looking forward to meeting all of you!

well if anyone is moving to Remora and wants to get a NA linkshell going me my brother, sister in law, and brothers best friend all decided to leave our server, we are all lvl 50 Brd Rng Sam and Pld. we moved because our previous LS has kind of gone down hill in the past few months, and many of our best friends that were in the game have left, or rarely play. so im sure i will miss a few of my friends that still play... but hopefully we'll form new bonds as players in our new server... most people seem to be splitting from linkshells so maybe we can get a large supportive shell going.

yea there was an emmigration last year..i think it was with the creation of a new server by the name of asura ..im not sure if that was the new one..but ut was one of them =]

I don't want to move at all. All of my friends (and my fiancee) are on Sylph! Why would I want leave them? Besides, I think Sylph is a pretty good server. So TAKE THAT HADES/REMORA!! :P

Woohoo! This is like the old time when people from Europe moved to the new world America! You get a lot of criminals/slaves but also a lot of pioneers. There were 'gold seekers', treasure hunters, convicted criminals as well as explores/doctors/scientists/businessmen (did I mention chinese cooks?) and many other colonists wanted to explore the potential of the 'new world'. It had its ups and downs but America turned out just fine.

What happens to a Linkshell in your current server if you have a pearl or sack and the shellholder leaves? Does the shell just continue to exist without a shellholder, or does everyone in it lose their pearls?

Personally, I don't have to worry too much, because I'm the shellholder in one linkshell, and I know the shellholder in the other shell is staying. I'm just curious.

I've had that happen to me (except the player just cancelled account, but still the same in that they leave the server): all the pearls/sacks become 'broken' and no longer work...just drop them

I know some really bad players that are going to transfer to another world because this is not an option for them. These ppl are so bad, no one wants them around any more so they dont have a choise. lol So to all u nice ppl out there i wish u the best of luck dealing with the unwanted.

Seeing as how AH prices, NM camping, crafting, fishing, melee abilities, and coffers have already gone COMPLETELY to hell in the past several months, might as well have the emmigrators go there as well....

You know people are gonna be making them hades jokes for a while.

I'm sticking my main character with my original server, but i'm making a new character on the new server. I got a few friends who are moving.

One things for sure... I'm not going to jueno much, Tavanzeria safehold (or however spelt) has jeuno AH and on caithsith... only about 6 people are ever near it, no 20-30+ like jeuno~!

Nah, i was simply stating the part where i will be on the server from day one, as opposed to joining it years after it began, that to me keeps my sentimentality at harmony. There are botters on every server no matter where u go, so NO server is without 'flaws'. You simply assume simple minded thinking. But 'new' botters are far better then well established , comfortable botters, that remain on all servers with established foundations. ie all but the 2 new ones. Even if its a short period without them, i would gladly give up my server for a one that wil enjoy peace even but for a few weeks

the "new and fresh" server thinking is a little flawed I think. Comparing migrating to a new server to the clean servers at the JPN launch is an apples to oranges comparison.

At JPN launch everyone was level 1 and on the same page learning curve wise. With the server move you are taking all your items, experience points, and 'tricks' with you. It's not a 'clean' world because you've already got gear, goods, and AH ready items. No one has to learn what to farm or how to get there.

its more like moving into a new home in the same town, your job, income, and life didn't change..just your address.

As for botters and gil sellers..you bet they moved..at least a few...why? Need World passes for the new series of accounts they'll be creating, and you can count on the existing accounts powerleveling them at blinding speed.

Yeah but theres always a chance it wont happen. I just hope since botters or at least the ones im worried about arent at their computer enough to see the immigration notice. ^^I have my main character stay anyway. Well wish me luck on hades.

I couldn't agree with you more. No world will go botless for long. You may have a shot at having not botters for about a month, but everyone has that same shot (if the botters on their world immigrate). They might have enough money to keep selling on their current server for a while, while giving them an oppurtunity to make money from a 2nd server for no effort.

I wish all the immigrants luck with capturing these Illegal Aliens that might come over with you.

nah most ppl leaving imo are ppl that have had enough of messed economy from botters and the like etcetc. And just want a fresh start , tbh anything is better then certain servers. Especially when the community lacks

I seriously considered shifting. Then i thought about the fact that most likely, at higher levels especially, the people transferring are more than likely going to be the "hated" people with very few friends to leave behind.

that doesn't sound like a fun place to be for me.

well fortunately a fe botters from my world are leaving, and those happen to be some of the people many on my server don't like. :) so im glad im staying :)
