NCSOFT announces a major content expansion coming later this year.

While Aden has long enjoyed peace & prosperity, it will soon come to an end.

NCSOFT announces a brand-new Lineage II expansion "Valiance", slated for release later this year. The major content expansion will see the world begin to crumble, as old enemies rise to rekindle battles long thought won. Heroes far into the game will be faced with new challenges that push them to the limit. A few specific highlights include:

Updated Zone – Hellbound will return with upgraded areas and new hunting parties.

Skill System – More than 25 new skills will be added to the game, and a large number of skills have been improved and/or modified. Additionally, the entire Skill System has received a major overhaul.

Abilities – An all-new abilities system will allow players to customize their skills.

Returning Raid Bosses – Popular bosses from Lineage II's past will return to the world of Aden.
