New fishing/cooking dailies rewardsFollow

I got the crab NC pet doing the Org fishing daily on my bank toon this week but that's the only old reward I've seen from the bags so far - anyone get a Dalaran fishing pole, the fishing hat or any of the recipes or other specials in the new bags yet?

For new rewards, I've gotten swimming haste potions, land haste potions and a Cata healing pot in addition to the normal trash. While some of the trash is amusing, sadly, unlike the Dalaran daily trash, none of it is worth more then a silver or two.

For the cooking daily I've been picking up the crate of meat with my bank toon - have only gotten meat and trash worth a few silver so far - anyone get any of the recipes that the Shat meat crates would occasionally drop yet?

Since the Azeroth profession daily quests are now available at Level 10 some nerfing was inevitable. While it would be easy to scale monetary rewards other items would be more problematic. Or else Blizz just wanted to encourage people a little bit less to continue running these past the cap. Take your pick and of course YMMV.

Not really - just put a level limit on the RNG or the reward itself - woot, my bank toon got the fishing hat, oh noes, it's teh level 60 item (or it simply never enters the equation for a toon till that toon dings 60).

As for getting people to stop doing them, lol, I'll keep doing them on my bank toon till they remove the XP reward.

I received the hat early on - very nice reward, and very useful (I don't buy bait any more). Other than that, the daily is mostly only of use for me for the +1, gold, and guild rep. And the crab pet, which I still need. I will probably have a ton of water walking potions by the time I hit 525 fishing, though!

Yup - get a lot of use out of the water walk pots too - swim speed seems useless though.
