Now that locks no longer have soul shards the soul bags have converted to regular bags with outrageous costs and no slot bonuses worth writing home for.

Soul Pouch = 14 slots
Ebon Shadowbag = 20 slots

Hunters not needing ammo anymore had a similar result on quivers/pouches.

Quiver of a thousand feathers = 20 slot

All of my other recipes seem to have poofed.

Specialty Tailor/LW

For leatherworkers if you visit one of the trainers in Dal there's about half a dozen oldworld recipes now available - they'll be the other special recipes from the other specialties, problem is that they're still flagged as needing said specialty to use them (haven't wasted mats to test it yet).

Tailors should also visit the Dal tailoring shop - the specialty trainers are all still there and will now sell anyone the specialty recipes that they offer (specialty requirements seem to have been stripped from those recipes at least).

Enchanting

Edit - The enchanting vellums are now all generic - no level to them and no difference between weapon and armor - my chanter's stacks of them turned into Ruined Vellums and if you right click them you get Enchanting Vellum - this effects all levels of vellums you have meaning that your level 1s are now just as good as your level 3s.

Nothing new on the shard seller but found an old recipe on the chanting trainer (low level boot chant).

JC

Edit - Harold Winston sells epic gems (the ones that used to be 10k honor) for 110-220 Justice Points each - if you go into the building with the JC trainers and face them, he's the guy on the left that sells the rings that'll port you back to Dal.

Nothing new on trainer and nothing I noticed on the badge venders.

First Aid

Nothing new on trainer or vendor.

Inscription

Hit the trainer - bunch of stuff including a recipe to make the dust to swap glyphs (I think it's cheaper to buy from vendor though).

Engineering

Nothing on regular vendor or trainer - not sure about specialty trainers though as I'd swap to gnome and forgotten to learn the new stuff.

Alchemist

Nothing on the trainer or vendor in Dal, however, the Flask of the North has changed - it now gives +40 to stats Int, Agi or Str and says it works in the arena.

Fishing

Nothing new on trainer or vendor.

Blacksmithing

Sorry, no smithing toons - volunteer?

Herb/ore tracking

Edit - The radar now allows you to track as many things as you want at once meaning that those of you who can mine and herb can now track both nodes at the same time.

(removed all the auto-edit messages as they were getting excessive)

Ah, it's the 'Reply to Thread' button! Well no wonder nobody had worked it out yet...

Blacksmithing:

Nothing 'new' on vendor or trainer, although I got 4 thorium recipes which were apparantly previously world drops or sold by Magnus Frostwake in WPL.

Engineering:

Ammunition recipes, including the arrow maker recipes, were removed.

Also of note, Engineer only enchants ("tinkers") now stack with regular enchants. Except for the Reticulated Armor.

Blacksmithing:
Previous untrainable specialty recipes are currently unavailable.

Even things like the Hyperspeed Accelerators and Flexweave Underlay? That's pretty damn awesome.

Edit: Holy Crap, sure enough!

This is going to pretty much turn everyone into engineers. I can kind of...in a sense understand nitro boots since they don't provide a stat bonus but the others like the cloak will provide double enchants to a profession that is pretty much one of the top dpsing professions behind JC.

I said this on another thread some where that if they are going to allow "tinkers" to double stack then they should allow all "embroideries" to stack. Or else take the stat increases off the items from "tinkers."

Can you imagine a good goblin hunter in pvp in cata, disengage, nitro boots, and the goblin racial to get away from people.

I don't follow you, wouldn't he have that anyway because Nitro Boots>enchant. Well it is a nice bonus to have its not like its a ubsured amount.

What is there not to follow in that last statement. I was simply saying a good hunter playing as a goblin in cata with engineering would be very good and very difficult to get to with all the utilities they would have to get away.

If you have the rep, Shadow Vault rep vendor has a pattern for "Abyssal Bag", which used to be 32 slot soul shard bag.
It is now a BOE 22 slot bag, whose pattern uses two fewer specialty cloths than the Glacial bag.

Glacial bag = 4x Ebonweave + 4x Moonshroud
Abyssal bag = 4x Ebonweave + 2x Spellweave

So tailors now have two choices for making 22-slot bags, if they choose to grind the rep for the pattern.

Edit:

and forgot to mention the most important thing: 2 less specialty cloths... AND NO 7 DAY TIMER.
If you've got the spellweave and ebonweave, GO FOR IT.

Is it usable by all classes, and not warlock-only?

In fact they do have +24 crit rating on them.

Actually First trainer now trains Heavy Frostweave Bandages. You no longer have to get it as a drop.

Since Warlocks no longer have soul shards, yes, it is now simply a regular bag.
It has no limitations on it in the tooltips.

Don't forget that Lifebloom has changed. Instead of just being a lame heal it now gives a boost to haste when used and heals a minuscule amount of HP.
