How to make lots of money with DE (guide)Follow
Works very well. thumbs up. I am completely new to WoW and i havent had any problems buying my mount, blue weapons, got my first purple....started with 5g on a lvl 10 alt, now the alt is lvl 23 and working towards 50 =) i have an esimated 300g on the AH right now, 100g in my bag. in fact this works so well i've forgotten how much i've made because i buy whatever i want (can you say imbued netherweave bags :)

eh sorry i must be a total nub or something but im doin the commands /percentless and /bidbroker but when i scan the AH still doesnt pop up items i can DE into mats for profit if you dont mind explain step by step i apreciate it

/enchantrix percentless [percent profit]
and
/enchantrix bidbroker [amount to be gained in silver]
thus, /enchantrix percentless 50 would give a 50% profit and /enchantrix bidbroker 200 gives a profit of 2 gold.

Excellent tips. I started this with my 'lock on Monday with starting funds of 5g. When I woke up this morning I checked and I had 26g after emptying my mailbox, with another 16g in bids still on the AH! Almost 10x the return in 4 days is not shabby at all. Biggest hurdle I have to cross is that he is level 21, was 140/225. I worked him up to 150 to DE some higher level stuff and now I am seeing some of the more profitable items require 170. May need to start power leveling his enchanting so I can get my hands on some of those higher end items.
Not sure if it was addressed yet, but what about essences? My rule thus far has been to compare the price of a stack of 3 lessers to one greater and sell the one that nets more (logical), but not sure if there was any tips outside of that.

i useally just sell full stack of greaters because they sell for more on my server and i can useally tack a random 2 or 4 gold on it...
Question for everyone, once you got some money rolling in do you bother with the small time anymore? when i started i would just but whatever i could with my money, no i just do bidbroker 200 and buy/bid everything and call it a day. I was wondering if anyone still bought all the 30s and 60s profit items after they had a bankroll going

Well, 7 days in and I have crossed the 100g mark with a 5g investment. I am selling stuff in singles as suggested by the OPs guide, it really does seem to reach a wider market and very little stuff is coming back to me. I am still buying up everything that come up on the /enchantrix percentless 50 command, but part of that is because I just rolled 170 with my enchanting and I am trying to use some of the materials I am getting now to raise my level so I can DE the bigger stuff.
Also, I snatched up a mod called BulkMail2 and BulkMail2Inbox, both of which make emptying 40+ emails a breeze.

Heh, I wanted to see if it was viable for a toon without a "sugar daddy" to provide initial funding. I went to a L16 horde alt of mine (50S to his name), because horde economy usually sucks when compared to Alliance economy.
He had the following bags: Small Quiver, 8-slot, 6-slot, 6-slot, backpack. I''ve played him for 4 hours (1 hour/day) and now he has 17G and 3 16-slot bags have replaced the smaller ones. He's also purchased three bank bag slots, and temporarily placed the old bags there. He's also raised himself above 100 Enchanting, by using excess mats (he still had plenty to sell). You can get there without a whole lot of starting money.

I figure this is worth a shot now that my enchanting is above 275, but I have yet to see disenchanting predictions on Outlands gear. Does the new Auctioneer package include outland gear?

Yes, but Enchantrix is no longer included in Auctioneer. Pick up the latest Gamma build of Enchantrix at Norganna's website http://norganna.com/

I started with about the same on my ah toon. He's up to around 500g from disenchanting and it is a nice addition to doing daily quests on my main. I just started using the percentless option in enchantrix, and learned I can alt-right click to go to the specific auction it lists out. Oh boy, we are having fun now.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. That was the one thing that was driving me nuts, typing in the name of each item on the list. I have also learned to /leave trade before I generate my list, otherwise I end up losing some items and have to run it again because of all the channel spam.

What this means is that someone has been playing fast and loose with prices of mats on the AH. You can compensate for this by clicking on the enchantris mini-map button, and adjusting the weights of the various mats. For example, if strange dust normally sells for 6S each, and Auctioneer gives a price of 1G, you can set the weight for strange dust down to 5% (or 5S) for the /percentless information. I usually check the prices before I use the percentless command, and adjust the weights.
okey i'm glad to see i wasnt the only one typeing everything out...i just figured i was an AH newb and no one else made that mistake...my typeing skill is maxxed now

From going through the thread, it seems you use the HSP instead of the Median or Baseline prices. Median seems obvious, but what about the Baseline prices listed in the tooltip?
Oh and I should upgrade my auctioneer and enchantrix, I've been doing it the old way for a while now (manually searching and going off the HSP/median and baseline prices). I think I've been too conservative, if the median and baseline prices were much lower then the HSP, I was taking a rough average of the 3 and using that as my break even cost (so break even / 2 is what I bid on). I'll use the HSP from now on, I was just wondering how they arrive at the baseline cost. Thanks.

The baseline costs were originally the cost data from Allakhazam (e.g. averaged across servers). I think they went to something different when IGE was owned by the same corp that owns Alla, but I'm not sure what.

If that's the case, you know that this method works; give this method a break for a couple weeks, there will be people who will say "This isn't making me any money anymore" and thus you will have your opportunity to make money using this method.

Can you afford to wait out the undercutters? Post at your normal prices. Eventually it will sort itself out.
Or, you could be sneaky and post your mats in large quantities at a very high price, and let Auctioneer create some artificial inflation - they will try selling at very high prices, and you switch to normal the next day. They will end up losing their shirts, while you make a normal profit. You will have to adjust your weightings when you create the inflation, and check/reset them each day as prices change. I've done this when mat prices won't support buying a fairly large number of AH items, and it works.
Never thought of that actually but i did saw it happen sometime with strange dust going for 1g and 300g buyout. Does it matter how bid/buy-out ratio is?
