Lately seems to be a new dynamis or sky HNM LS forming. Wow if I was new to endgame I would be so confused atm.
Hmmm, to the newbies out there to endgame, this is just my opinion, but to help you out a bit if you are trying to decide on one of these hunderds of new shells and not join an existing established one. I would choose for Sky/HNM; Changz's LS, and for Dynamis; Ladyofhonor's LS both are proven leaders and know what they are doing!

I haven't seen Changz do much advertising for his LS. However, my current Sky/HNM LS is SleeplessKnights, led by Valdimar, who is also very experienced in end-game.

As someone who helped start up not one but two end-game LS (at least), this is kind of hypocritical isnt it?
As I have said many times, the more people reaching levels 65+ there will naturally be a need for more end-game LS to spawn up. This is just a natural progression for the community as a whole and I wish the "new groups on the block" the best of luck.

I think its good they're making these new linkshells. It was fun learning how to kill NMs on your own and figure out your own strategies. That was the fun part for me 2 years ago. Its also fun to discover end game drama. LOL....
Being different, having choices and options is what it's all about in my opinion - whether in game or real life. Shiva is a big world - the more the merrier, I say.
On a side note, I think it's awesome to be in [Besieged]and see all the different linkshells band and fight together. Amazing what we can do when we all have a common goal....

Honestly, I've kind of felt the same way looking around recently. Lots of new HNM/Sky/Dynamis Shells popping up. If you didn't know better you'd swear that the amount of end-game players had doubled on Shiva in the last couple weeks. Of course, this isn't the case. Most the new shells will end up folding because too many people think they should lead a shell. But regardless of this, I still wish them luck. To those looking for an endgame shell, pick a group you can have fun with and the rest takes care of itself.
Another possible reason is that if you join an established linkshell with people leveling 2nd, 3rd, extra jobs up they most likely have many points towards equipment in sky, dynamis, etc. When 1 point is 1 hour and many people are 100 points or more over you right off the bat the odds of getting anything useful is going to take a very long time.
Some shells also slow doing what they started as new things have been added. Merit parties in the new areas are hard to beat so most people do not want to go to Lufaise meadows or sky (not that I ever liked Lufaise anyway). With the addition of Assault and Limbus less people end up farming in sky.
I think the best choice for a linkshell is choosing one that you get along with well and has a good overall attitude while getting things done.
