Sorry Soph, I can't buy any of your drama. We already have a drama in our LS. It would be wrong to have 2 drama's.

Casey, Bar, and Mohit. You guys are pathetic. I make a gross generalization of linkshells for fun and all of you are freaking out. I did not mention your LS!!!! You have to at least mention something to flame it. I was bored last night so I sent a /tell to Mohit and he was questioning me about who the leader was in my post. So I told him it was a woman but in my post said it was a man - LOL.
I have yet to say anything negative about Illumatas on these boards and I have no intention to. I will not *bother* discussing Kalten or the reasons I dropped my pearl. I will not bother flaming a LS I am not in and have no interaction with. Why? It is old news and I doubt anyone cares. I don't care.

/tell referring to whatever LS you meant, but was "scared to say because you want to do Dynamis with them." Or the fact that you're trying to "make an LS by taking good ppl from other LSs." That will fail. They will see through the paper-thin veil that you call leadership and see it for what it really is.

New LS - I was thinking of making a Sea only LS. It would be for people in Linkshells that currently do not have Sea activities. It would not be a Limbus, HNM, or Sky LS - Only Sea!! I told you that in /tell. It is like Dynamis shells that people from other LS attend and would be empty 99% of the time.
See here is the deal. I am indifferent to you and your LS. I don't respect or disrespect you. I sent you a /tell last night because your post was pointless and vulgar. I was just ******** around LOL.

Which time, out of the bazillion times you either got angry, dropped your pearl and left Wasp, or were *returned to the community* so to speak; are you referring to? I think it's great that our linkshell, and I'm sure many others like to give members the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their leaving and returning.
After awhile though, it gets old. People usually don't change who they are; and most dedicated, serious linkshells start to become weary of the *if you don't do this, I'll leave* scenario. Oh well.
Honestly; I enjoyed getting to know you, had lots of good times when you were a member. It's too bad you didn't stay the course to get to know everyone better.
I can't really remember any major reason why you decided to leave so suddenly all those times and then beg to come back; but hmmm.... I do remember you, along with a couple of other people, who reapplied when we became Illuminatus and were denied.
Perhaps those times you left of your own accord; had you hung in there you would have found out how *fairly* devoted and committed linkshell members are treated; along with those 3 or 4 members who are whining. Alot of times, misery loves company. It's actually a bit humorous.
Oh, and Agirlyman! I don't just make this stuff up either - cats have very good memories!
Fem, I think you are confused, I wasn't talking about myself, or stating anything that happen with me, and wasp. I liked Wasp ls, and many of the members in it, I left all four times of my own accord. Hell even all the times added together, i wasn't in wasp long enough to complain about ****. Everytime i was asked about by wasp by people looking for ls, I always reccomended wasp, and told them it was a good ls,. I'm just stating complaints for the people who are too nice to say anything.

Well considering i read the first post meticulously the first time it shouldn't matter. You came at me, calling me pathetic for only replying to posts trying to call for peace. I don't really care if you named an LS or not, it isn't the point. So take the high horse you are on and gallop out of my virtual life.

There is really not one aspect of the game where linkshells play a vital role beyond organizing people for events. Granted some of these events take many people. The MAJOR problem is that the only dynamic in the game where Linkshells actually compete real time and for something of value (excluding some new pvp stuff) is also the most abused, corrupt, and frustrating....HNM (Land Gods) camping and claiming. blah, blah, blah. Bad vibes... I want to feel the love.

I have never been in a bad LS so cant really talk about it. The only thing i can do is tell something about the LS groups i have joined in the past. Im a little bored atm so here is my post lol.
The first month (the month that i bought the game) 1 year ago i joined the LS of Botosia. It was a really good one and they helped me allot with the basic stuff of the game.

Just an observation from someone who has never been in a bad LS although some that I've been in had people I didn't necessarily think much of. As someone who games for the sake of fun, its always seemed odd to me how unhappy some of you hard core types really are. When you join a Sky or Dynamis or whatever "end game" LS, you're basically signing up for a second job in return for getting some kind of status in the form of a glowing dot next to your name. When you come back to your old slacker LS to ***** about how you got cheated out of some uber drop after spending a gazillion hours helping your fellow ubers and how they don't seem to like you no matter what you do, don't expect us to relate. Some of us just aren't interested in joining something thats a combination of a popularity contest in high school and the army. Not even if you paid us $12.95 a month.
Now my LS story. A while back SE offered a migration to another server. Many of my friends had quit and I figured, WTH try something new to make the game fresh. Without giving it much thought, I signed up to move. (I'd read SE was going to offer fee based server moves that December but it didn't materialize.) After getting to Midgard, I ran into someone I'd known for a while from EK. Since he'd always seemed like a nice guy and I was on my own on Midgard, I asked him for a pearl. He then proceeded to grill me about my rank, etc. Honestly, I had no idea that EK was an end game LS. This guy was always goofing off leveling different jobs or fishing when I saw him. He ended up denying my request because I wasn't dedicated enough to the game to be a benefit to their ls. I confess that at the time I was really hurt. Here was someone I actually knew basically saying I wasn't worthy to join the shell because I hadn't killed Shadowlord. Clearly he was right and I wasn't a good fit given what I know about EK/Vindicated and the like now. In my case the drama was caused by me not asking any questions about the LS and just being expected to be welcome. True newb behaviour.
Having had the experience of running the BST ls on Midgard for awhile before quitting the game, I can tell you that there is nothing harder than running a big ls. Even one that isn't all about the "end game" crap. Those of you who actually manage to run a happy LS deserve a round of applause because at some point all of us role play simpering idiots ingame.
While you're all here, can I suggest a new thread? How about, what the hell does end game mean? SE is going to keep putting new things out there to entertain people who are level capped so that you continue paying your subscription. Back when I started, end game was pimp hat for my RDM. Then it was AF for my BST. Now that I'm starting over from scratch with a new char, I don't even want to think about how far this new arbitrary end game is.
P.S. Apologies for actually naming EK and Vindicated. No offense intended. Outside of some well known LS drama between them and another LS I was in back then, I've had no bad experience with either of them or their members.

Clearly the most obvious way to succeed in high level raiding is to have an organized group of people to participate rather than doing a Dunes party style pickup.
Drama is common among all shells. Thats the downside of playing with humans. I never get that in Oblivion although the NPCs do occasionally **** me off enough to kill them.
