Does anyone member this, well I do and never forgot I was a noob rdm lvl 33 I got invited to pt. They asked if I had dispel I told them no, but they still invited anyway. I was my first time in altepa with a pt. I was pting with 4 members of the same ls(hotunkenknights) so I was thinking this pt is going to rock. Not to say that the ls suck, Im just saying it was awhile ago there was a tank from there whm mnk(celesita) an another job(was the puller).
So we are fighting dhalmels the puller pulled another we all had alot of mp. The tank vote it as fight went on I seen the whm not healing so I started healing tank but it was to late. I was asking why didnt the whm heal I got no answer, so I told celesita to voke she said no and zoned the whm and rest went right behind her. When we zoned I was like wtf you could have tanked it and why didnt the whm heal. I got no answer so I said damn he is in your ls why did you let him died? All of a sudden Celestia starts talking S&*t to me calling me a noob you dont even have dispel. I was like what does dispel have to do with you tanking and the whm healing.
So Celesita said you just got blisted by alot of high lvl in my ls, so I said I got blsted by your ls because you 4 suck? Well if they all play like you 4 im cool with that so the tank hp and came back I didnt know he switced jobs and warped me away and Celesita said by noob. I was like wtf is wrong with them. So for awhile I would see her she would say /em laughs at noob I tried to be nice to her but you cant get along with all ppls. She maybe better now but that was the worst pt I have ever been in.
PS. I am still not mad at her and I never will but she treated me like S*&t for no reason and she knew I was a noob.

Hehehe... I find this funny how you could magically put words in my mouth. I actually remember this day very very well, as do many of my LS mates.
It was myself (MNK), Kulganflame (WAR), Solarflare (WHM), and Arkard (MNK). We were tearing through things until our RDM had to go, so we picked up the only thing seeking, a 34/12 RDM/NIN, which was you as we can tell. You never did your job, or anything for that matter. Solar had his BLM at level 55'ish, so we decided to go to Rabao and warp you away. Sure, it wasn't nice, but eh, everyone makes mistakes.
The fact that you slander my name by saying I made emotes at you and stuff in say is quite interesting, because anyone who knows me knows that isn't the way I am. I also find it interesting that you tried to be nice to me... yet after this happened and you ******* me out in /tell's, you've been on my blist ever since. Mind you, this was probably 8 months ago.
By the way, the only reason I remember this so well is because it's the party I met one of the best friends I've ever had, who was also your replacement (Raynil). <3 Ray Ray

Kulgan is the holder, but i believe him and Celestia share leadership. since they started the shell a long time ago
Strange that the title goes as: Worst PT you Ever Had when it seems like bashing on one perticular person, looks like another bad player list to me trying to make someone look bad in that case. Don't mean to be ****** but that's what it looks like *waiting for the karma troll*

-_- With all due respect Snake, you really should have had Dispel against Anticans...the PLDs buff themselves, the WHMs buff themselves, and if the party had wanted to chain beetles they would have been screwed.

I've had bad parties before, but generally after the second death (or near death) I just tell the party it isn't working out, and 99% of the time they agree and we break up amiably. Everyone knows when a party isn't working for whatever reason....the tank is a bit too low lvl, the mobs are a bit too high or too low. It's not usually due to someone 'sucking', it's usually either a level problem or a party setup problem.

ive had many bad pts i think weve had those nights where nothing goes right to just end up lvling for 8 hours but yeah
Hmmm. I can think of one bad pt recently, 65 blm running out of mp and decided to melee the Hobgoblin Alastor. Yes, that 2 dmg and .3 skill he received were well worth the trade off for actually killing the monster 3 minutes later. He then got really mad when I suggested when out of mp he should rest so he could nuke and not melee the Alastor. I also enjoyed the party where I was the only one using food in the early 60s I believe. Then again, I'm sure many people can relate stories of how bad I made the party.
Yes I should have had dispel I was a noob then, was I wrong for not having yes. We never once fought ants or beetles they invited me when I told them I didnt have it. I just think it was about the nin sub. I had great gear I was hitting the hardest in pt I just wanted to look cool really. I did my job I just didnt have dispel(really my fault with my gear I could have brought it)

Um.....sorry chief, but I've seen Celestia and Arkard's MNKs, and I've seen the effort Kulgan puts into his jobs, so the idea that you were hitting the hardest in that party is only slightly more laughable than the fact that I got Scholar status.
lol its funny that your trying to defend your friend you wasnt even there. He or she didnt have good gear at the time and I did and you can rate me down all you want to defend your friend.
At level 33, MNK gear is wicked cheap. Celestia's THF was a high level but he ditched it, so he had plenty of cash. To not have the best MNK gear at that level is both unlikely and uncalled for.
The first peice of MNK gear that's wicked expensive, is at 34, and I distinctly remember Mr. Cel having his Ochiudos Kote, though I think it was a little later that he got it, not right at 34.

This really is just a thread to post about how you were treated badly over a thread about bad ptys. You have a right to be mad though if what you say happened.
I've only been booted twice from a pty. Once as a war in qufim, I died tanking and was told that meant I was a bad tank so the leader disbanded me. Once in sky I was in a slow killing pty and the pty leader(same guy as person in qufim) booted me. He also wasn't able to pull hate off me with voke plus WS, so the drk/thf had to SATA off him. So I started to cure myself less, and he complained I need to cure more for hate. The idea I had to much hate he didn't understand.
Well he told the blm to warp me and he did. Still find both funny, who blames a pld for lack of damage and dying as a tank doesn't make you bad. I won't give the person name but a lot of people consider him the joke of bismark. 2 75 jobs rank 10 and still doesn't know anything about the game.
Btw, my worse pty was a 5 war pty in qufim where me as a pld was invited to be healer. I told them I didn't have the mp to heal and 5 wars wasn't a good pty even with a whm. I think a 24 pld has the mp for about 2 cure IIs.

I'm not saying you're necessarily lying(though I think you are, but that's just me), but in all honesty, when someone makes a party, they don't say: "Hmm, we need more DD....oh look, a RDM/NIN! He'll fill us in on all the melee damage that two MNKs and a WAR just can't provide!"
And as for defending Kulgan, Celestia, and Arkard: Of course I'm defending them, but I'm not presenting a different side to your story, I'm here as a character witness. I know them, and the performance I've come to expect from them, hence it stands to reason that they would not be so radically different in one party, as told by a self-admitted somewhat noobish at the time RDM.
Oh, and I don't rate. For the most part the rating system is stupid, and I'm too lazy to select a rating on posts I don't care that much about.
Oh, and the fact that you prefaced your original post by asking "does anyone remember this" when the party was you, four members of the same linkshell, and one other person, odds are pretty great that no, in fact, the average person would have no memory of this. Dude hiddenIgloo you may be smart but not to bright, what does being 74 have anything to do with this? What does 75 have anything to do with this just because ur 75 does not mean your better than anyone just means you put more time in. Yes a rdm elvaan can hit really hard if he has great gear.
What he means is that it takes longer than a week to get from 30-74 so this must have happened a long, long time ago(IE: Eight months).
