Some confusion about UnholyFollow

I have a VERY minor confusion about unholy spec. Is there a talent I'm missing that makes my diseases spread, or FeS refresh the diseases on multiple targets? I often find myself killing off target A, and finding out that target B has 90% of disease time left on it.
Could be me imagining things, but if it isn't, I'd like to know >.>

I don't know of anything.

Are you being literal with 90%?

But two things:
1. When you spread your diseases, the durations start at the beginning for new targets. So if you do IT>PS>Pest, then your new target is going to have its diseases start 2-3 seconds after your FF on your main target.

If you kill your target in another 2 GCDs, then your second target would have 90% left.

2. It's possible that you are sometimes hitting Pest again and not realizing it?

I'm guessing the 1st is what's at work here, combined with you kinda imagining it.

It's completely possible that my clumsiness has me hitting pest too, and it is probably part mental, as the 90% is figurative, not literal.
If there's nothing known I'm missing, it's mind tricks, definitely, thanks :)

Remember that the duration of diseases now are way longer than they used to be. So you could just be feeling like they should be way further along, because they would have been in wrath terms.

That is possible, I played DK almost not at all during beta, and just recently started back on my DK I was raiding with at the end of Lich.

Wish they'd buff diseases to minutes, like other diseases in the game. Of course, then we'd never have to reapply them on boss fights and our rotations would be boringly efficient, but yeah.

I've found that, at least with Unholy, there would really be no need. With Festering Strike as part of my rotation, diseases just don't roll off the main target.
And I suppose they last long enough on multiples for me to think something's refreshing them, so, dunno. Maybe it's worse for frost? Don't care, as the Frost style just doesn't appeal to me.

Only Oblit has a boosted by disease damage component and FF gets refreshed by HB procs via the glyph, so you really only need a single U rune every minute to keep both diseases going if you are using Outbreak like you should. Which is great because Pillar of Frost is on a minute CD so the runes can stay matched up for the most part.

In before someone tells Digg that it's been five months or so since the previous post.

I'm guessing he posted that in response to another necro post. I'm curious as to why the DK forum has been such an attractor of necro posts the last few days.

Pigtails to my rescue. :D

Yeah, it was some kind of add, with it being the first post the person had. I mean, who makes their first advertisement a necro on some obscure thread in an obscure forum?

Seems logical enough to me, if you think about it.
