My DPS didn't change much in the switch from Blood to Frost.
However, I've been DPSing as Blood for over a year now. With Frost I can honestly say I didn't know what in the hell I was doing.
Once I get it down, it'll be pretty sweet.

I really want to try this, but I'm also intrigued by the whole ghoul transformation thing...WHICH TO PICK I DUNNO D:
2h frost vs dual wield frost? Anyone have a comparison of the two yet?

Depends on your weapons. I think overall best in slot frost are dual wielding the 1h axes off heroic lich king, giving DW frost the edge. I have shadowmourne though, and no hope of getting the HLK 1h weapons so 2h frost is better for me.
Seems like all the damage got amped up quite a bit. My Warlock in blue and starter purple gear was doing absolute destruction with Seed of Corruption spam. Especially when you do the empower thing where the AOE effect also puts Corruption on everything it hits.
And my Paladin in 2pT9 was just wreaking havoc in heroics, with 15k Hammer of Wrath and 10k Exorcism crits. Templar's Verdict (or whatever it's called) does insane damage at max Holy Power.
Going to give me Death Knight a spin tomorrow. Someone remind me why I deleted my level 80 Death Knight and made a new? Other than the fact that he was Blood Elf?

So, leveling up, my Death Knight was challenged to a duel by a Mage. Presumably because that Mage wanted to test out his Frost stuff. The moment his Ice Barrier dropped, I had a Killing Machine proc waiting with Obliterate one-shotting him. Or two-shotting, I guess, since I'm dual-wielding.
Might pick it up again. Paladin also got changed and I'm sort of liking it (except there's a pretty big gap in the rotation early on).
On a sad note, you need to be level 69 to get Howling Blast now, which means my Death Knight, who is 67, lost the snap AOE. Not that spreading diseases and using Blood Boil is bad, but I wanted to try out Howling Blast.

Ive always been Unholy DPS and loved it, but I took him out for a spin today for the first time since the patch and he sucks big time :(
I was a frost tank anyway so im going to swap to DW frost tonight and try to grab myself some new weapons. I miss howling blast, but now im gonna miss my ghoul.
At least from what im hearing, frost seems to be working pretty well now so fingers crossed.
time to go pour some more gold down the glyph hole.

I'm loving it. There's no rotation, it's completely how fast can you react to getting a random rune. It's exciting, ever-changing, and completely fun.

Man, you are crazy. Unholy is a ton of fun, who doesn't love turning their ghoul into a giant pustulent monster?
Still haven't tried frost, specced it on my other DK but haven't had a chance to do anything other than tank with it yet. Should try to get in on weekly raid this week maybe, try it out that way...
I got to try out 2h Frost, and I prefer dual wield. DW seems to play a little quicker and I was doing more DPS with it.

Really? As 2h you're in unholy presence, you know that, right? It's the only spec that uses unholy presence full time. It doesn't get much quicker than that.
