Monday morning has arrived on this side of the planet. How did your weekend go?

WOW: I got hauled out into "fresh" air more than I wanted and made less progress than intended. The junior Monk didn't return to her adventures, but I made minor progress on a Paladin, Mage and Rogue on top of sorting out various mailboxes and banks.

RL: The air was a bit better this weekend and Spring is inching closer. So, I got hauled out. Ah, well. At least one of the jaunts was to the wholesale market and I've replenished things like pasta, olives, canned tuna, and what passes for coffee here (Nescafe instant).

Your weekend has to have been more exciting! Let's hear some tales. Smiley: laugh

Last day of Feb. Geezus.

RL: Don't know. I need to go town to a toy store a few towns away, I had them order me a 2x2 rubix cube. I could also go back to the comic book store and get the few comics that just came out last Wed. (Origins II pt 3..I need...and if TMNT came out..I really need to fig out when what comes out on what week..I usually just leap from months before I go pick up my pulls). Would not mind seeing the new Thor movie, went to buy it yesterday but the Wal-Mart in the town I work in is one of the worst Wal-Marts on the planet.

WoW: I need to make some gold. I need to see what mats I could maybe sell. I do not like feeling so broke...
I also need to try and run the 2nd to last part of SoO (LFR) and see if I can get a new Helm to upgrade.
And..if I can, maybe play the druid a bit.

WoW: I ran LFR, did not get a new helm like I wanted, but I did get new boots as a drop. Still really need a new helm -.-
No Druid play.
No gold was made.
I did decide I want to get the ... t2..dungeon set for my DK, because it looks neat (I like purple). I have 3/5 main items that show (Helm, Shoulders, Legs. Need Chest and Gloves..and then maybe boots, but I don't think you can see, so it won't matter).

RL: Friday night I did nothing. Watched a few episodes of DBZ (decided to buy all 9 seasons, I'm on season 5..Cell has just ran off t find his droid meals :P) before going to bed.
Sat: Went to Soulard in the STL area for Mardi Gras. 1st time I've ever gone. Was pretty neat, if I do it again I think it would be better to know where stuff is to hang out at, and not walk around for hours like we did. Lots of random pics with cute girls, due to me buying a huge set of beads. Was to cold for the boobies to be out (sad) and/or not enough booze (yea right..). Was fun
Bought me my 2x2 Rubix cube, its fun, bought and watched Thor, it was ok. Didn't go get comics.
Sat night I went and hung out with friends, didn't drink (had been all day lol). Was fun until 1 part foul, and the "ice" storm began to roll in.
Sunday: Tried ESO beta, only got to play the intro. Looks kind of stupid. However I've never played an Elder Scrolls game. Did laundry, then chillaxed rest of the day until I needed to sleep.

Now it is Monday, again. T.T

Gaming - I played a whopping 30 minutes of War Thunder last night, that was it .... I was +3 on my k/d ratio so I got that going for me.

RL - friend was over Friday, it was pleasant. Saturday was a little gardening and then visit to the in-laws. Smoked some ribs and learned about re-loading ammunition, got some practice in and talked for about 6 hours, good times. Sunday was the ice-pocalypse ... it got cold and sleeted so the day was spent inside making jelly, cleaning, and working on a tax return for a client. A trip that normally takes an hour to get the step-kids from their father took almost 3 hours due to said ice-pocalypse.

RL - Nothing really planned. Need to do some cleaning after having guests last weekend. Nothing major, but keeping on top of it. Probably going to be a mellow weekend, money-spending wise, since last weekend was more spendy. Biding my time until the next hockey season starts up. So, to keep some conditioning, I'll probably try to take a decent hike with the dog. Hopefully, the weather cooperates...we have a Pacific storm front headed our way. Oh, and tomorrow's my birthday.

WoW - I don't know. I'm starting to think about unsubbing. I've played since late in Vanilla, but I'm just not finding myself motivated. I had to really cut back for a couple weeks because I was really busy with work and RL. In the past, I would have been jonesing to play again. Now, I don't really have the itch. Seems like that's a pretty big red flag. I think part of it may be related to something Mazra said the other day about MoP. I guess I, too, don't really care for the whole panda-theme thing of MoP. I think I'd rather be back in a more traditional WoW world. Now that my leveling trio is in Pandaria, I just don't seem to care much. It might be that as I near the end of the journey (i.e., leveling) I'm losing motivation because I don't really care about gearing up for raiding, and the end-game grinds. Maybe I just need to log in and jump back into it. I don't know...I'll play some over the weekend and see how it goes.

Late posting, but here goes:

RL - Had a good weekend. Saturday, ended up hanging out with some friends at a cigar and scotch bar. My friend's sons birthdays are Feb 28 and March 2, so we had a triple birthday thing going. Good time, except the peat scotch...yuck! A good Oliva cigar made up for it, though. It didn't end up costing much, either. My friend was buying for me and would only take $20 from me. I felt a little guilty (I do anytime some buys, just the way I am), but I'll get him back some time, so it's all good.

Weather didn't cooperate on Saturday. We got drenched. It was good, though...first rain in about 100 days. Got in a decent hike on Sunday and wore out the dog prety good. That's always a plus. Then had my parents over for BBQ. Yum Yum. Spent most of the day doing 27 loads of laundry...at least it seemed like 27.

WoW- Didn't touch it. I just wasn't feeling it. Besides, last week I discovered Feed the Beast (mods for Minecraft) and I'm completely hooked on it at the moment. Still evaluating my WoW future, but for now I guess I'm stocking up on rested XP.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Sadly, no social events/gaming/movies/tv shows at all for me till Tuesday. Because of my impending doom (read: diploma final) I will live in the apartment of a friend. She won't be there, so apart from a book I'll bring along there won't be any distractions from my studying.

Am now a bit less afraid of the exam.
When I got home a few hours ago the first thing I did was make use of the D3 exp boost and push my level 60 hardcore monk to Paragon 6. Also did Ulduar25 but no mount (surprise, surprise).
