The trap episode two back is definitely Admiral Ackbar from Return of the Jedi. Sadly, I knew exactly who it was, and still didn't understand that joke. If I weren't in Dark Legacy, and able to ask around, I probably still wouldn't have realized it. (I really need to go back and see Episodes 5 and 6 a second time some day.)

But yes, this was definitely Keydar at his finest.

Does anyone undertsand the episode "It's a trap!"? Because i sure as hell don't.

It's Admiral Ackbar from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. When they find out the Death Star is indeed still fully operational he cries out "IT'S A TRAP!" and the entire Alliance fleet goes 180.

Especially #20. Totally #20....what? No, I don't have any reason for plugging that particular comic.

Huh... Ive been keyboard turning ever since I binded my keys. I play on a laptop and there are times when I dont have a mouse with me. Didnt think anything was different.

I use both hands on keys when I play. I find it quite easy to play, but if its more efficient to use one hand for the mouse, i guess I gotta change my strategy...

The mouse is WAY more effective in terms of turning. All you have to do is hold the right mouse button and move your mouse to the left or right and depending on your mouse's sensitivity you'll spin 20 or 30 times around yourself.

I have a friend who is a chronic keyboard turner (and ability clicker) who refuses to convert.

And he has a warrior alt that he has been playing and doing Ramparts with.

And his name is Donald.

Somebody help me.

The best thing about that is the sheer concentration captured in the turning procedure. Forever a favourite.

So all the binded keys should be around the movement keys? Hm...

My movement keys were untouched but my u-p, j-;, and n-. keys were turned into my binded keys.

Bloody hell, gotta start learning again :(

Wow, I have a really f-d up set up then. Basically, its FFXI's KB setup. All movement/turning is the num-pad, and I turn "fast" by turning and strafing at the same time. It seems to work OK sofar, but I haven't done any end-game stuff. I seem to do OK in PvP... beat a lot of people, get owned by a few.

Honestly, I never use my mouse except to talk to NPC's Auto-loot ftw XD

As a hunter, I hesitate to use the mouse to turn most of the time, mainly because of the new auto-attack feature of right clicking a mob. I'm afraid I'll accidentally right click a mob when turning and aggro a group unintentionally, further bringing down the reputation of hunters everywhere.

Unfortunately that is a real problem and ive experienced similar things on my rogue actually.

gouge>Hold Rightmouse button to get behind mob>Mutilate. Sometimes I spaz and lift the mouse button, which causes an autoattack of like 50 damage breaking the gouge and fubaring everything.

That change to hunter autoshoot was retarded.

Keyboard turning isn't a big deal for a lot of class in pve, especially solo pve.

But in instances, a tank who takes 2-3 second to do a 180 as opposite to doing it in fractions of a second can spell a wipe when many mobs are now fully capable of 1-shotting a healer.

I`t's a big deal in pvp however, especially for melee heavy class.

Truth right there. Never had an issue with my Hunter before the change, but now I break traps on a regular basis.

GJ on that change. Not.

I use both to turn depending on the situation. I don't play a tank so in PvE I almost always use the keyboard to turn, except on my healer he used the mouse to move almost exclusively.

As an offensive nuke I find the keyboard is better so I can use the num pad for my powers. But I am also skilled at switching from wads movement to the mouse and have key binds on both the num pad and the regular 1-0 and a few other various keys.

So for me it gets pretty animated in PvP switching back and forth. Mainly I use instant cast spells like a hunter does for the jump shot, and that cannot be done on the keyboard.

Do you not play with both hands?

Left hand hovering over wasd and 1234, right hand on mouse. I usually move with the w key myself, just use the mouse to do all the turning. Having one finger on W doesn't prevent you from hitting any other key in that area.

Edit: changed keyboard for mouse...

I use the autorun button on my mouse to move almost 100% of the time.

only keys i use on my keyboard for controlling my character movement is strafing and stopping.

Really really bizzare now that I think about it, but thats just always what ive done.
