One question I've been seeing a lot of for some reason is "Am I addicted?" I understand the relevance of the question, but it seems like 3 or 4 new threads of it daily for the last week or so. Food for thought.

Yeah, but I'm neither a doctor nor a psychiatrist. All I can offer is opinions. As far as I'm concerned, addiction is a medical condition that requires physical dependency, while obsession is a psychiatric condition. Alcohol, drugs, and smoking create addictions. Gaming, gambling, and sex can be obsessions, but they don't create a physical dependency - only mental. No one can become addicted to a computer game although they can be obsessed with it to the point of ruining their lives.

Also used in black temple quests/attunement.

Quote:
PvP - Player vs. Player. PvP is the equivalent of PvE in the "newbie" zones. When you leave those zones, you get into "contested areas", and your PvP flag is automatically set to on. With the PvP flag on, players of the opposing faction can attack you whenever they want to. Blizz has set some specific rules for PvP - http://www.blizzard.com/support/wo...=agm01654p. On a PvP server, all characters have to be the same faction (Horde or Alliance)

Not that it's REALLY important, but the link includes the period at the end of the sentence. So, when I clicked that I got a 'page not found' initially.

Corrected. Thanks!

The Wowreader guide no longer exists. Or at least I'm getting a 404 error when I click the link in the FAQ. I mean Mazra's WoWreader Guide, BTW.

Confirmed. I've PM'd Mazra to find out if it still exists somewhere linkable. I'll update the FAQ when I get an answer.

I have a new URL from Mazra, and the FAQ has been updated (and tested).

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I try anyway.

I received a free premium account, nice! But until when is this valid? Just out of curiosity.

Without knowing exactly how you got the free premium membership, I'd say one month. However, you can see the expiration date by clicking "My Account" in the left-hand menu and looking at the Billing Settings on the right, if you should have such options available.

It'll tell you the Renewal Date which is the date your premium membership will expire.

He's built a reputation of being helpful (there are plenty of things you can do to enhance the group effort besides adding damage/healing/tanking)

#148REDACTED, Posted: Jan 08 2009 at 12:20 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I see since Blizzard have officially recognised this website the rules have become liek lets lick blizz butt. Come on forums are for having our say. Why so many rules now?

The rules are the same now as they have been since day 1, however, we now follow the EULA as well, which is part and parcel of being an official fansite. You may want to consider toning down the attitude given your posting history thus far.
