Ok, so my Beta First Impressions post had a reply of someone asking for a journal of some kind, i think your about to get it.

My Design Layout class at my college has assigned its final project. To make a 5 page website on my choice of topic.

Here is my current plan.

The main page that will say a little about myself (IRL).
the Skills page that will detail my equipment, my stats, my skills, my crafting levels and anything else that may fall into that catagory.
A journal log that i will do my best to update every few days of important events, or just updates on what ive been running around doing.
Photo Album of course showing (probably some low res) images of where ive been, cool battle shots, or whatever other screenshots i think i should show off. i will do my best to keep them as detailed as possible.

Now thats 4 outta the 5 pages... i dont want to have a page just for links, but, i dont know what else to put... im thinking of having a "Quests" page that will say what quests ive done, and what i did to complete them. But, that will be a LOT of info to put it, and be harder to update then the journal... what do you all think i can do with this?

Maybe give a basic rundown of what exactly WoW is...lots of people (maybe your class instructor) may have no idea what you're talking about when he/she sees your website ;)

Also, you could include some research stats, like how many active MMORPGS there are currently running and how many people play each one, the history of the modern ORPG, etc, and even where THEY originated from (text muds).

Satur: you mean an instance dungeon or something? nope, havnt been in yet. only level 20 after all.

emperorjeremy: YES! i didnt even think of that. how many people dont know about WoW?! I was in another class once and it was just me and one other guy in the classroom, and the teacher said that he was going to give people time to show up, and i asked if i should log out of my game or if i could stay in for a bit. he asked me what game, and when i said "World of Warcraft" he was sitting at the desk next to mine before i could blink and asking me quite a few questions on how the game is (please note, that teacher cannot be more then 30 years old, and im guessing hes about 26). About an hour and a half later (classes are 4 hours long at my college), he knows just about everything that i know about the game, and curses himself for not going into the beta when he had the chance (one of the other teachers at my school works for blizzard and offered to let a couple of the teachers get in on the beta). fun times for sure.

Ok, so here is what im gunna have:

The home page that talks about MMORPGs a bit, and goes into the story line for WoW slightly.

a character sheet that shows what equip my charactor has, as well as stats.

A Tradeskill page that shows what i am able to craft, and what i charge to craft it if you dont bring me the materials.

The journal which will detail a few events (those i can remember, i may just ad-lib a few previous entrys, and then take it from there)

and the Photoalbum page.

this is due in a week, and i recently found out my school gives me space to make a website. If i can, ill have the site there and put a post up on it to let ya all know.
