Miner from 17-25
Goldsmith from 20-25

None of this happened. But I did get some other unexpected stuff done.

ACN: 16---> 21
Miner: 17--->20
BLM: 30--->31
WHM: Cleric's Robe! Which let me wear my Royal Crown. And then the CT shoes dropped too. I am now iLvl 74. Still didn't beat Titan though. Smiley: frown

Here ya go Kat!

Its for titna ex, so the pattern rotates there, but applicable to hm nonetheless.

Archer 27-30, Pugilist 12-15, unlocked Bard. Bard 30-32. It pleases me deeply to rip hate off of tanks two to three levels above me. I've got a nice mix of dungeon drops and crafted gear with appropriate materia. Since I had the crafts leveled and I already had the materials lying around, all I spent was a couple grand on the materia and I'm pretty much tanking dungeons when I want to. Even with the drop in damage from having Mage's Ballad running I still can pull hate pretty easily.

Also, finished catching every fish in La Noscea. I had to wait on a couple of them that I had to catch in the rain, and a there were more than a few double Mooches, but that's another area checked off the list. I also unlocked the new Fisherman ring that I won't be wearing since it's inferior the rings I crafted for myself. Thanalan is up next, it shouldn't take nearly as long since there aren't even close to as many places to fish there as in the other areas.

Cool! But what about the circular pattern?

For pre-heart circular, make sure you sit in the middle until you start seeing explosions. The first bomb to land will be the first bomb to explode. Usually I mark it with a #1.

So when they start exploding, you run towards the #1. Keep in mind, pre-heart, he will use landslide right after the first few explode so make sure you keep moving.

For post heart, he will landslide before the bombs blow up. You can bait the landslide out of the center and then move to the center as it goes off. When the landslide goes off, the first bomb will explode. Run towards that one.

Many people do not bait the post heart landslide, though. You can move off the landslide on the center bomb and back onto the center bomb in time as to not be hit by the bomb explosions.

Ah, circular pattern post heart,

Method #1
Once the bombs have all dropped, stand on the middle bomb (along with everyone else) and he will prime up his landslide at that point. I keep note of where the last bomb in the circle was placed (you can see because they drop in a circle). That landslide will trigger up on top of the middle bomb. At this point I dodge the landslide by running off and making sort of an L shape, running first toward the last bomb placed (which hasn't exploded, in the figure in the link below it is the #8 bomb) then I make a 90 degree cut and run to the area where #1 bomb used to be (as the landslide drops, the first bomb should have exploded by that point).

Methd #2
The only hitch with method #1 is if the landslide happens to line up and drop on top of where the last bomb was placed. Running to #8 in that instance will get you knocked off the map. Another way to do it is just pick the side of the line aoe effect that has the more recently placed bombs, sidestep the landslide to that side, then after the landslide drops and the bombs start exploding, run to the opposite side from where you dodged, where the bombs have already exploded (or any area where the bombs have exploded will work).

^ most definitely. Same as my method #2 above. That is the method I personally use 90% of the time, since it requires less thinking and now that I am in ilvl 90 and lazy I can just sidestep to either side and if I take a bomb hit I still wont die. But since you wont see any parties on Lamia coordinated enought to sidestep the landslide, Kat you should definitely sidestep from the middle to the side of the last placed bombs, then after the landslide hits, run back across to the other side where the bombs have already exploded. And be quick about it (maybe use sprint) so you can make it to the other side before the middle bomb explodes.

Well, we didn't get Titan done since our two members weren't on.

Ran CT and capped Myth but didn't get any drops I wanted.

Got BLM to lvl 42.

Farmed Ultima a bunch but lost lot on the Fending Ring and the Healing Ring. ;_;

Maybe next week. /sigh
