This quest is available during the War of the Wanton Maw.

To begin this quest speak to:

• Defiant: Adept Dinoce at (6194, 5177) in the Training Yard of Meridian
• Guardian: Lieutentant Yillasia at (7364, 3035) in Tavril Plaza of Sanctum

Objective:

• Speak to your local Ascended Powers merchant.
• Defiant: Speak with Hallam Darad at (5946, 5280) in the College of Planar Studies
• Guardian: Speak with Abstaffar the Mysterious at (7474, 3005) in Sanctum of the Vigil
• If you haven't already, purchase Ascended Power: Defiant's Flare or Ascended Power: Guardian's Flare for 50 Planarite.
• Use your Flare ability on an enemy foothold that would grant experience.

Rewards: 25 Molten Gold Ingot
