No he doesn't. The female woodie behind the guild, as in walk along the outside on the very small path around the building, does. You have can do a couple quests for the different scout gear. The first one has to do with cb so you can stay close. Ohh and there was a bug with it last time i tried, one of the words that should have been plural was not. Damn this is vague... well i tried.
