Speak to The Lady of Insurrection at 8, 149, -64 in New Halas (Frostfang Sea) to begin this quest.
The alternative to this quest is Heal the Pain, given by Sister Katey Dalwynn at ( 30, 148, -53 ) . Players may choose to complete either Heal the Pain or Tainted Love, not both. After the selected quest has been completed at least once, players may not switch to the alternate choice in following years (as of 2013). Players must have completed the quest Unforgettable before this quest will be offered. It is repeatable once per year.
- Take the world bell to Everfrost. Click on the Shard of Love portal at -57, -9, 58 and choose Shard of Love: Seeding Corruption.
- This is a solo combat version of Shard of Love: A Healing Touch. Mercenaries are allowed in this zone.
- Slay 20 Shard of Love inhabitants. This is any of the attackable mobs in the zone.
- Click on eight vases to plant Seeds of Distrust. Known locations: (there are many more than listed below)
- -12, -15, 42
- 11, -15, 43
- -42, 0, 33
- 9, 2, -41
- -121, -5, -105
- -141, 13, -187
- -23, 16, -188
- 13, 21, -186
- Finish clearing the zone if you are collecting candies for crafting or to exchange for Erollisi coin!
- Return to The Lady of Insurrection to complete the quest.

- Fires of Anguish - NEW in 2013!
- Cowl of the Sisterhood - NEW in 2013!
- Cloak of the Sisterhood (can only be chosen if you do not already possess one)
- Gilded Vase of Devotion

You say to The Lady of Insurrection, "No! How dare you take on the appearance of Annalisa Swornlove!"
The Lady of Insurrection says, "Oh?! The appearance of this flesh makes you angry? Good! It is a reminder of what I took away from the Harlot of Love."
Accepting the quest:
You say, "Hail, The Lady of Insurrection"
The Lady of Insurrection says to you, "Hello, child! Have you come to embrace the greater power of Hate?"
You say to The Lady of Insurrection, "Yes! What may I do to serve you, Archtraitor?"
The Lady of Insurrection says to you, "Enter the Shard of Love, my servant. Kill the creatures that inhabit it, and plant these Seeds of Distrust in the shard's vases."
You say to The Lady of Insurrection, "It'll be my pleasure!"
Completing the quest:
You say, "Hail, The Lady of Insurrection"
The Lady of Insurrection says to you, "I am delighted to see you return, my dutiful servant. Tell me, did you plant distrust and wreak chaos within the Shard of Love?"
You say to The Lady of Insurrection, "I did!"
You gain Alternate Advancement experience by completing a quest!
You convert 7800 experience into AA experience!
The Lady of Insurrection says to you, "Then take this and know that you have helped a daughter of Hate this day!"
You say to The Lady of Insurrection, "Gladly!"
You receive Gilded Vase of Devotion.
You receive Erollisi coin.
After completing Tainted Love:
You say, "Hail, The Lady of Insurrection"
