Philip believes he is very close to proving his theory and would like me to collect one last thing for him. I am to travel to the cemetery in Somborn and find Dabner Falish's grave. I am then to dig up the grave and bring a sample of the body back to Philip so he can perform some tests on it.

Stage 1

I need to bring Philip a sample from the body of Dabner Falish.

This quest is given by Philip Glaslow once you have completed Additional Samples.

Philip's experiments are nearly complete. He needs you to travel to the cemetery in Somborn and find Dabner Falish's grave, where you must dig up a sample of the body and return it to Philip.

The grave is located at -456.14, 14.56, 65.82 . Once you click on it, Lord Falish will rise from his grave and attack you.
He is a level 70 no arrow ghost werewolf. Kill him and loot his necklace for your update, then return to Philip in Somborn to complete the quest line and collect your reward.

Note: a previously reported tip that you could let a guard kill Falish and get quest credit seems to have been fixed; you'll have to kill him yourself.

NO Update if guards kill Falish

This quest appears to have recently been 'fixed' so that you must kill Falish yourself without any help from the guards.

Tried it twice with the guards.... no update.

The loc posted above is actually the position of Phillip, not the grave.

Dabner Falish's grave is at -456.14 14.56 65.82
