Overview of Tanaii
Tanaii is a social linkshell, active since day one of Hades! With dozens of active members (both from NA and EU timezones), Tanaii regularly organizes group events, LS statics (both EXP statics and Assault/Limbus/Mission statics) and various events to help out their LS members to achieve the more challenging goals in FFXI. We have two linkshells under the Tanaii name: Tanaii (social) and TDLS (Dynamis)!
Tanaii is registered with the Final Fantasy FFXI Linkshell Community
Tanaii is Elven for "A chosen path".
In Tanaii, the linkshell family is the most important thing. There is the only rule, to be loyal to linkshell family. If you want to know whether or not something is allowed, I want you to ask yourself, "How will this effect the family?" Then take your answer from that question. Everything, you will see, will fall into that question. This is also how you will determine whether or not something is against the rules.

Linkshell Rules
Family guidelines: Just be nice people, its not a hard thing to do and it makes everyone around you feel happy as well.Its nice to be nice
At times decisions may have to be made, someone has to make them, so please be understanding in any decisions that are made.
Please understand that somethings can go too far, I know some things are funny, others are fun and then you get the interesting bits, but not everyone is immune to everything. If you see something is going too far please understand what is happening and calm down, the LS is there for everyone.
Understanding the Family Tanaii: In tanaii, everyone is treated the same, level, race, gear, will not buy you respect and authority here. The people in charge are the people that hold the pearlsacks, listen to them above others, and if you have an issue talk to them, they are not going to bite your head off.
Everyone will be given a fair chance to work as part of the family, we aim to include as many people in events as we can, promoting fun and achivement to all. Its really comes down to respect and responsibility, everyone has the responsibility to respect others on the shell and to respect others in general, these are the people that will be your friends, guides and the company while on the shell.
"By helping others, you help yourself and in turn others shall help you."
Some General Guidelines 1. Monster Player Kills (MPK) are not allowed, be it for fun, against RMT, or because you dont like someone. 2. Asking/begging/borrowing gil is not permitted in the linkshell. 3. Harassing noobs/newbs is not permitted. You are representing Tanaii with your actions, and I will hold you to the highest standard. Set a good example for these new players. 4. Casinos are not allowed in Tanaii. 5. While we do not restrict the amount of shells you have, we do wish Tanaii be your primary shell, this helps everyone build good bonds with each other. 6. No derogatory terms, racial slurs, or other inappropriate language will be used in the LS. Just because it's okay where you live to say certain things, doesn't mean that is acceptable everywhere!
Linkshell Events
On request of members or whenever an opportunity presents itself, events will be scheduled. This includes (but is not limited to):
- WSNM fights
- AF fights
- Stronghold Invasion
- Skill-up parties
- Chest/Coffer key hunts
- ENM/BCNM runs
- Subligar runs
- CoP/ZM/ToAU missions
- Limbus runs
- Assault missions
Events will be announced in the forums and through the lsmes.

With the new year (2007) the applications threads have been reopened to allow new people to join Tanaii and become part of this family.
What do you have to do to join?
"We will send you on an intensive training course in the Den of Rancor, once completed you get a pearl". Sadly, because of health and safety reasons we can no longer put people through such training, so we have something a little easier:
- We ask that you are at least rank 4, and have a job at around level 50
- We ask that Tanaii be your primary linkshell outside of event shells (HNM, SKY, Dynamis)
- We ask that you are a good person
I think that's really the most we ask for, all applications are taken on a per user basis, everyone will be viewed the same.
