This object can be found in Iron Pine Peak.
Quests this object starts or is involved in: Gale Force Winds, Chasing the Wind, Find Your Own Truth.
Located in a cave in the Crystal Depths.
Although you are led to this object during Chasing the Wind, you can use it at any time to travel instantly to many locations within Iron Pine Peak. Click the Key orb to change the color of the orb and the lights on either side of the Portal.
When doing the quest Gale Force Winds, you will receive a Portal Keystone. This MAY allow you to open the portal from the endpoint back to the Crystal Depths! We just aren't 100% sure, yet. Other than this, you never need anything to go from the cave out to an endpoint. it is always available to you.
Key Color/Portal Destinations:
- Red - (4607,1551) beam high above Thedeor's Forge
- Orange - a cabin in Icewatch Ridge
- Yellow - Cave of Ekdim the Mad
- Green - (4606,1557) Scriptorium - empty stone cell, no exits except portal
- Blue - (4570,1599) Scriptorium - stone cell with a bookcase, table and Secret Tome (Chekharoth's Journal), no exits except portal
- Purple - (3272,1599) Cabin in Redsnow Bandit country. The chest to examine for Chasing the Wind (find clues to Chekaroth's whereabouts) is here.
- White - Frost Falls, at the feet of Carik Blackear (no return portal)
