This object can be found in Stonefield.

On the mountain (Towering Steppes) at 4575, 4974. There is a lever and five devices. You must initialize the devices in the correct sequence, right to left as you look at them from the lever... 1, 4, 5, 2, 3 then run to and click the lever. You have EXACTLY enough time to do this with almost nothing to spare so do not pause. You will get A Large Key. Click the chest again to use the key and get A Dusty Sack. Now, finally, open the sack to get your purple weapon!
