If you descend the stairs, go left down and then right and down you enter a crypt. There is a clickable candlestick that is actually a lever that retracts the sarcophagus, revealing a staircase down to a shining portal. This is the entrance to the Instanced Dungeon, Forsaken Abbey. The first mobs in the instance are 16-18 Elite.

drop some ink!
You will be returning to this spot off and on for the next 20 levels or so, and thereafter anytime you need to help a guildmate farm Crystals for their Elite skills, so this would be an excellent location to mark in your Transport Book.
