In most party’s I join in the new areas every one besides my self has shadows, so the ATT down effect is worthless, and I doubt the DoT effect has much of a plus over diaIII simply because 4wars on 1 mob with -15%def (or something like that) im sure will inflict much more dmg then bio. As fare as kiting and DoTing, I have many ppl suggest I get bioIII for Kirin and what ever, but think of this when you are doing something such as kiting a high lvl NM do you really have time or magic points to cast bioIII over and over and I know we do to keep down the regen of HNMs but bio2 costs less mp and has a longer duration. And one last thing additional merits into bioIII or diaIII only extend the effect time by 30 sec it dose not increase the DoT or the ATT down effect at all. Oh and a rdm can have 220 dark magic.

Get Slow2 Para2 and ether blind2 or dia3, bio is a waist of merits.

I'm using BioIIIx3
it is a fairly damaging spell and good in solo


Bio IIIx1 12hp/tick DoT(120dmg) (total 240)
Bio II is 10% attack down and 6hp/tick DoT (240dmg) (total 300dmg)
Bio IIIx1 does the same dmg as Bio II it is just front loaded and only 30s
BioIIIx3, 480total dmg and -15%? attack down 1.5mins

people reporting that BioIII 220 dark is at 8 dmg/tick and caps at 10-12 dmg/tick (but a RDM can't get that much dark magic)

In testing my data shows that bioIII Dot is 12+-2/tick

so bioII is (300dmg) in 120s, 8.33dmg/mp 2.5dmg/sec
bioIIIx1 is (240dmg) in 30s, 4.44dmg/mp, 8dmg/sec
bioIIIx2 is (360dmg) in 60s, 6.66dmg/mp, 6dmg/sec
bioIIIx3 is (480dmg) in 90s, 8.88dmg/mp, 5.33dmg/sec

if bioIII DoT is 10 /tick
bioII is (300dmg) in 120s, 8.33dmg/mp 2.5dmg/sec, .3mp/sec
bioIIIx1 is (220dmg) in 30s, 4.07dmg/mp 7.33dmg/sec, 1.8mp/sec
bioIIIx2 is (320dmg) in 60s, 5.92dmg/mp 5.33dmg/sec, .9mp/sec
bioIIIx3 is (420dmg) in 90s, 7.77dmg/mp 4.66dmg/sec, .6mp/sec

Just got Bio III (Just Opened no Merits) and well yea its doesnt last long but considering that most fights (unless soloing) DO NOT last more than 30 seconds when meriting(unless your in old areas).In caedevera mire in Merit PT Imps dont last long enough for me to even Debuff >.< they are usually half dead by the time silence finishes casting.The Flys Last a little longer but the Benefit this spell gives is a Major Att Down Effect.I am not trying to say its worth it just putting in my 2 gil as i havent really had time to Experiment with it.

:o i luv bioII as is, now soon i can get BioIII...
"BioIII~~~~O" yay for bio spearms O.o; i know from gobs
that bio3 hurts quite a bit and cause my dark is capped
i will have revenge on them damned gobbies ;>.> errm Mew?
