Clustered Tar
Tar drop rate without thf was lower than expected, around 10-20%. When thf arrived it picked up considerably, closer to 40-50%. It's quite easy to farm for everyone before going after the nm, safest area to pull them is where you fight the nm, in the passage OUTSIDE the cave. There are two Nitro pops in the cave where the ??? is, killing those before each pop should give you any extra tar you need from wipes/dud nm pops.
Actual Soboro drop rate was very good with thf, around 7/9, this is with maybe only one self destruct the whole time. Finally got one!

Can be farmed solo as Bst in A01. A 2HR'd IT Fly will tear through the Atomic Clusters with ease. I did it today, didnt have any issues landing charm against the IT's, I went BST/BLU with an emphasis on spells that raise my CHR, I had around +30 chr between gear, blu spells and food (and my gear was pretty gimp). The hardest part was getting the Giant Scale from the Drakes to pass the first unstable displacement, where the clusters roam.
I recommend taking Pet food incase the drop rates bad, dont want to lose your pet before it drops or you will have a boring wait, counting down till your 2HR is ready. Also dont forget RR, I might be stating the obvious but getting behind that unstable displacement solo was extremely frustrating, and if you die behind it without RR you are going to be kicking your self.
EDIT: oh yeah and it dropped on second kill ^^

1h:30min killing Nitro Clusters, not even 1 Clustered Tar droped :-/
its to spawn unstable cluster a NM that drops a very powerfull lvl 50 GK (its powrful cus it attacks 2-3 times not for its 40 damage) this item drops fairly easily from the nitro clusters probably like 40-50% drop rate from nitro's
Does anyone know what this is for?

As The description suggests It's used to force spawn a NM (wich drops a R/X GK).
