Bomb Queen Ash
After killing Volcanic Gas for about 45 minutes, the only two that dropped the bomb queen ash were two that did self-destruct. Might just be coincidence but I thought I'd share.
Unfortunately that 2nd one killed me. :( I thought self-destruct was weaker when they have less HP, but with about 1/4 its HP left, it nailed me for 868. Funny that you get the items it drops as it kills you.

Would any one suggest me how much should I put Bomb queen ash on my Bazaar, Thank you ^^
I have been wondering the same thing as I now have 8 of these on me while lvling BST in IC. I am debating on weather I should just drop them or not.
This is dropped pretty regularly off of : Volcano Gas in Ifrit's Cauldron.

It Spawns a NM Bomb Queen at the ??? located at H-8 of Ifrits Cauldron according to my LS.
You need to trade 3 Bomb Queen Ash and 1 Bomb Core to the ???.

How do you get bomb queen ash if you need it to spawn the bomb queen and it is only dropped by bomb queen (according to allakazham)

The ash is also dropped by other bombs, and I believe the Bomb Queen spawns periodically as well. The ??? is to force a spawn so you don't have to wait.

Under the assumption from Zeroheat that you can get this item from other mobs than the Bomb Queen. I would believe that it's use would be to call the Bomb Queen so as to kill it however many times it will take until you obtain the rare drop...such as the Bomb Queen Ring.
Found one today in Ifrit's Cauldron off a bomb there. It can definatly be found on regular bombs.
...Saw this in someone's Bazzar in Jeuno once for 1000gil and bought it under the assumption "hey, it looks important so it's probably worth something or something I can use eventually".
...2 months later of it sitting in storage, I still have no clue what to do with it. Can't sell to vendor, can't sell at AH... grr. I'm at 'hero' level fame in every city and have about every non-AF or avatar quest listed on this site completed and still no idea. Sorry =/

I got this from a "Volcano Gas" in IF-CUL and I do not know what it is for either :/

I have no idea what i can use this item for. After i killed the bomb queen, all i got was this lousy ash thingiemabob. is it for a quest or something?
