'B' Egg  

In 2005 during the last two day, I started selling eggs and made around 250K. I also got the various prizes.

This year (2006) I didn't go for the prices but just selling the eggs. In the last 5 days, I made close to a million gil after deducting my expenses (e.g. colored eggs and buying cheaper eggs). I also did teleports during this time, which is why I say close to a million.

Something I found interesting, though. Between the 2005 and 2006 events, I started working on the summoner job. During the lower levels, I made some silly mistakes (for one because I didn't have SMN macros). I threw the Fortune egg.

Interesting, when I went to get my first egg this year, the Moggle gave me a new Fortune Egg! I'm not sure why.

I do remember in 2005 by mistake trying to get another Fortune Egg (forgetting they are RA/EX). Maybe this was a hold over, maybe the Moggle say I lost mine and gave me another. I don't know.

Anyway, I suggest people get some mules, the ability to run two copies of FFXI (e.g. PC & PS2, etc.), two accounts, and start collecting and selling those eggs.

Don't forget the moggles will give you an extra egg each game day when you trade a colored egg. During this year I'd suggest buy or craft them and have them ready on your mules for 2007!
