Seriously thinking about giving up on this guy. I'm on my third day, and I've probably camped this thing for 16 hours at this point. Bears have been in control of the eastern cave the whole time, and I've been killing almost every single cub, razorbeak, and grappler that appear on track. I've had the guy spawn twice for me, but he dropped the claw on both occasions, this is honestly one of the worst camps I've ever done. I had an easier time spawning Quillmane.
I found some luck sitting at 1058, -2271, 57
Life needs more cowbell.

Please add https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=14986 Eye of the Frenzied Owlbear to his drops. It's much rarer than the claw, ~1/10 for me.

Killed today on Agnarr Server while the Owlbears had control of the Moor. Location was between the two bridges.
Dropped the following:
'Claw of the Royal Owlbear' (Link below)
Owlbear Meat
Chipped Owlbear Beak

Just killed Skriat`Chet.
You need the Bears in charge of the war.
He spawns where Curfang does.
I was killing Razorbeaks, Grapplers and Cubs that wander the two rivers and hills area. These would PH for each other
I define Curfang's area. Draw, auto map a box with these Loc's as the corners NE 861, -1438, NW 906, -1148, SW 665, -1096, SE 546, -1383.
This will give you a better general area to be at than any one loc.
