Regular Currencies Special Event Currencies

In Rift there is a wide variety of currencies. Press "C" to Bring up your Character window, then pick the "Currency" tab on the left to see your currency.

Legend Crafting - Earned from completing Work Orders. Can be used to purchase special recipes. Collections - Earned by completing collections and can be used to purchase Companions from the Artifact Collector. Dungeons - Earned by completing Dungeon quests, used to purchase high-quality gear from vendors in College of Planar Studies in Meridian or Lodge of the Planes in Sanctum. PvP - Earned from completion of Warfronts and used to purchase PvP gear from PvP Goods merchants. Planar - Earned by participating in rifts and stopping invasions, used to purchase Planar Essences and Focuses from Planar Goods and Rare Planar Goods merchants.

Special Event Currencies

World Events frequently token system, where events are rewarded with a special currency and used to purchase special event-only items from World Event Merchants. These items go into your inventory instead of your currency wallet.

Once an event has ended there is usually no place to spend event currency. However, sometimes currency from completed events can be exchanged for currency of a current event.
