Walkthrough

Snowhill Rare Exploration Map

Since you can find three of the Snowhill rare tokens by scaling one mountain, I will start with those first. Begin at the mailbox near the hot springs and go up the mountain towards Hot Springs Haven. Just past the Frostfang Snarler and the Snowman on the Loose there are three ways to go. Remember this spot, you will have to come back to it to get your next token.

There are some pixies on the right on a ledge, to the left of them is another pixie, he's unnamed. Go past him and down the path behind him past the Ice Troll Scout, Beyond the Springs is at the end of the path. You should be standing behind the hot springs and you should see your goal in front of you. It appears you can go between two rocks to the hot springs by Carrie, but you cannot, you must go back up the way you came. This is a good idea since you need to go that way for your next token!

When you arrive back near the Snowman on the Loose, don't go right to Hot Springs Haven or left back to town, go straight across and up. At the Frosty Yeti follow the right path upward. The Between the Peaks token is actually up the mountain behind the yeti. Follow the trail up and when it forks, go left, not right to Howling Hills. Peek over the ledge to the south and you should see your newest token and if you are lucky enough, a rare collection spawn!

Remember the yeti? Go back down to the yeti and follow the trail upwards as it zigzags south and west to the top. When you see the red flag, you are nearly there. There is an NPC up there by the name of Nenjai. On either side of the flag are two rare collection spawns, if you are lucky you can get those too. Walk between the two trees and just over the edge sitting on a small ledge is your Perry's Lookout token.

If you haven't been to the smelting furnace, anvil or the mine, then you can find the path to them just north from the penguin defense games. Smitty is working hard, so don't bother him, just go around behind the building for the Smitty's Hiding Place token.

I hope you like heights as the Penguin Point token is WAY up there. Get your hiking boots and let's go! From town go east up the mountain to the penguin habitat and training center. Go south past the ice and up the mountain path, after you pass the yeti but before you get to the toppled Snowman, turn left (east) facing the elder and two baby penguins. If you are in their near vicinity and face north, you can walk between two rocks. Go to the edge and turn right, you should see the token down on a ledge below. Congratulations, you have just completed your Snowhill Rare Exploration collection.
