Tier 2 (WoW)
Tier 2 refers to the set of class equipment that is primarily acquired from the bosses of Blackwing Lair. Two of the pieces, the head and the leg drops, are from Onyxia and Ragnaros instead. Tier 1 equipment sets consists of 8 pieces, and the set bonuses are at the 3, 5, and 8 piece levels.
Tier 2 can also refer to a guild working on Blackwing Lair.
