Summerfest (Rift Event)  

Summer is here and people all across Telara are taking a break from their hard-won battles to enjoy the fine weather, great food, and fantastic fishing that summer always brings.

The main event currency for Summerfest is the Summerfest Merit Badge, which can be earned via quests and by closing rifts of all levels.

Summerfest is currently slated to run from June 27, 2012 through July 25, 2012. These dates and any information below are from the PTS and are subject to change.

Hedge Mazes Phase 1: Beat the Heat Phase 2: Lazy Summer Event Merchants Achievements

Hedge Mazes

Most of the quest NPCs and the event merchant are in hedge mazes in Meridian or Sanctum.

Phase 1: Beat the Heat

Ice Cream Deliveries

• Deliver Ice Cream in Shimmersand - from Chef Alo at Chancel of Labors in Iron Pine Peak to Zerato in the Golden Summit area of Shimmersand.

Phase 2: Lazy Summer

The scavenger hunts continue throughout Telara while many folk sit back with a frosty beverage and enjoy the sunshine.

• BONUS: Telara Dog and Pony Show - Part 1 - You must have the Ascend-a-Friend companion, Courage, to receive this quest

Fishing Dailies

During Summerfest the Summer Sunplant can be found growing in shallow waters throughout Telara. Fishing around this plant can yield Summer Sunfish, Sunplant Leaves and even the occasional Summerfest Merit Badge. On PTS the locations of the Sunplants were marked with the balloons icon that was used for Dragon Pinatas. This should change before the event goes live.

Misc Quests

• Save the Spirit Guide: Speak to Rhonna by the bridge at Argent Glade
• Find a Confused Spirit Guide and use the temporary skill to capture her.
• Reward: 25 Summerfest Merit Badge

• Delouse the Itchy Werewolves: Speak to Danny Boiler at (5706, 3634) in the Silkweb Pass in Gloamwood to receive this quest.
• Delouse 6 Itchy Werewolves.
• Found on the north shore of the lake below Gloamwood Pines, around (5377, 3058). When you have one targeted, click the "Delousing Powder" temporary skill.
• Reward: 25 Summerfest Merit Badge

Scavenger Hunts Begin each scavenger hunt with Shyla Starhearth at (7423, 3130) in Sanctum or Sylver Valis at (6205, 5196) in Merdian. Find a task master in each of the challenge zones and complete their quest! Check the individual subquest pages for walkthroughs of those quests.

Survival

• Sandwiches for Everyone!
• NPC: Dogen Deghoulash at (7432, 3127) in Sanctum or ??? at () in Meridian
• Make 10 Sunfish Po' boys using the survival skill.
• The recipe "Borrowed Recipe - Sunfish Po' boy" will be automatically added to your Survival recipe list
• You'll need 10 Summer Sunfish (fished up near summer sunplants around Telara) and 10 Dough (vendor bought) to make the combines.
• Reward: 25 Summerfest Merit Badge

Spend your merit badges and friendship bracelets by purchasing event goods from Aerlinsa at (7420, 3120) in Sanctum or at () in Meridian.
