Rift Zone:Freemarch  

Freemarch is the first major zone Defiants encounter after leaving Terminus. Freemarch was once ruled by a long line of kings, now buried in tombs along the northern mountainside. King Jakub was the last king and ruled with an iron fist until the people rose up against him.to the current day the people of Freemarch are ruled by an elected "Warden". The current warden is fighting the undead east of the Iron Fortress, now the stronghold of the undead King Jakub that Alsbeth the Discordant reanimated to take over Freemarch in the name of the Death Plane.

Freemarch has the Death and Water plane invading it everywhere. Expect high volumes of Water and Death Rifts, Invasions and the occasional Foothold.

Instances

Iron Tombs is the tomb of several kings, recently opened up by Alsbeth the Discordant. Level 16+ 5-man instance.
Expert Iron Tombs is a 50+ 5-man instance.
