Purgation Isle (WoW)  

Purgation Isle is an island south of the shores of Hillsbrad Foothills, in a shape of a towering spiral.

History

The island is haunted by ghosts of paladins, monks and priests that are condemned and cannot find peace in death. Prior to patch 1.10, all mobs were scaled at levels 20 through 30. Now, however, they have been ramped up to 57+ elites and are part of the Tier 0.5 armor quests.

Old Hillsbrad Foothills

Purgation Isle is also used as part of the Escape from Durnholde Keep instance, found in the Caverns of Time.
