How to Use npc2item Database Feature (Rift)  

Npc3item is ZAM's tool to allow anyone to connect NPC's and items. This data was not included in Trion’s publicly released data, so it’s up to us to build loot tables and lists of wares vendors sell.

What can I do?

If you have a drop source for loot you can add it into the item's "Dropped By" table or that NPC’s "Drops" table.

If you find a vendor you can add all of their wares by checking out an item's "Sold By" tab and adding the NPC's name and the cost of the item or by simply going to the NPC’s page and typing in everything he sells.

"Dropped By" Tab

Type in the name of the NPC that drops the item (a partial name will give you a list). Select an NPC; when the NPC’s name appears click "Submit" and the information will be added to the "dropped by" tab.

"Sold By" tab?

• Mob Name: Type in the name of the NPC that drops the item (a partial name will give you a list). Select an NPC.
• Currency: Select the appropriate currency
• Price: Add the number of currency
• Currency 2: Select the appropriate currency if applicable
• Price 2: Add the number of the second currency if applicable

How can I add stuff to the "Sells" tab?

• Price 2: Add the number of the second currency if applicable

How do I Change a Bad Price?

Simple create a new entry with the right price and it will replace the old (assuming all other fields are the same).
