Grizzly Hills (Alliance Quest Guide)  

Grizzly Hills is one of the "mid-level zones" for Northrend. This zone contains a wide variety of questing hubs and an instance hub known as Drak'Tharon Keep.

Grizzly Hills will mostly come after Dragonblight for most players but could be taken just after one of the first starting zones.

Amberspine Lodge

• Head into Grizzly Hills and to Amberspine Lodge which is located at 31, 59.
• Don't forget the flightpath!
• Pick up the quests Mmm... Amberseeds!, Local Support, Replenishing the Storehouse, and Them or Us!.
• Turn in Mmm... Amberseeds! and pick up Just Passing Through.
• Head west and down to the river and collect blackroot for that quest.
• Go turn it in.
• Pick up the follow up Doing Your Duty.
• Head outside and use the outhouse.
• Go turn the quest in.
• Head outside and kill tallhorn stags for their meat.
• Go and turn it in.
• Pick up Take Their Rear!.
• Head east and go kill bears and collect enough meat.
• Go turn the quest in.
• Pick up Troll Season!
• Head to 25, 68 and start killing wolves for the quest.
• Head to 16, 55 and grab the chest.
• Go turn the quests in.
• Pick up Eagle Eyes and Close the Deal.
• Go east a bit and kill 5 eagles.
• Head north a bit to 34.5, 55.5 and turn in the quest there.
• Pick up A Tentative Pact and head back to Amberspine Lodge.
• Turn in the quests and pick up An Exercise in Diplomacy.
• Head outside and pick up Secrets of the Flamebinders and Thinning the Ranks.
• Go south to Voldrune at 31, 74.
• Kill the flamebinders for their talismen and then kill the rest of the mobs for the other quest.
• Go back and turn in the quests.
• Pick up The Thane of Voldrune.
• Head to 27, 77 and get on flamebringer and fly to 27, 73 and kill the Thane.
• Go back and turn the quest in.
• Head to 26, 36 and turn in the quest.
• Pick up the quests Northern Hospitality and Wolfsbane Root.
• Head outside the village to the west and kill marauders.
• Now go circle the village and collect the wolfsbane.
• Turn the quests in.
• Pick up Test of Mettle.
• Goto 22, 30 and kill Bonesnap.
• Turn the quest in and pick up the follow up Words of Warning.
• Head to 26, 32 and turn the quest in.
• Pick up the follow up Escape from Silverbrook and follow the prisoner and take a wild ride. Remember to listen to what he has to say and make sure you arrive safely at Amberspine Lodge.
• Turn the quest in.
• Pick up the follow up A Swift Response.
• Head to 36, 68 and kill the hunters and Vladek.
• Go and turn it in.
• You should have gotten a journal while killing there, accept the quest Descent into Darkness.
• Turn it in and pick up Report to Gryan Stoutmantle... Again.
• Head outside and pick up the quests A Dark Influence and The Failed World Tree.
• Goto 33, 48 and kill slimes until you have enough samples, then go into the bottom of the cave and use the orb.
• Head to the cave at 29, 45 and goto the bottom and use the orb.
• Goto 41, 42 and head into the cave and at the bottom use the orb again.
• Head back and turn it in.
• Grab A Possible Link and Children of Ursoc.
• Goto the cave located at 48, 59 and listen to Orsonn's story.
• Head out of the cave and kill furlbogs for their blood.
• Head to the cave at 67, 62 and listen to Kodian's story.
• Head back to the Amberspine Lodge and turn the quests in.
• Get Vordrassil's Sapling and Vordrassil's Seeds.
• Head into Grizzlemaw at 50, 42 and head to the bottom and burn the tree.
• Walk around Grizzlemaw and collect seeds.
• Go turn them in.
• Pick up the follow up if you want to find a group for it otherwise ignore it.
• Head to 16, 48 and turn in the quest.
• Pick up the follow up Filling the Cages.
• Speak to Budd and take him south, let him stun a troll and capture it in the cage.
• Go and turn the quest in.
• Pick up Truce?.
• Grab the nearby knife, cut your hand and make a pact with Drakuru.
• Turn it in.
• Grab the follow up Vial of Visions.
• Buy a imbued vial from the reagent vendor.
• Look north for a hazewood bushes and open them and collect 3 leaves.
• Head into the river and get in the water and collect a frond.
• Go turn it in.
• Pick up the follow up Subject to Interpretation.
• Go grab Scourgekabob.
• Grab a troll mummy and take it to the bonfire and burn the corpse.
• Turn the quest in.
• Pick up Seared Scourge and Shimmercap Stew.
• Head south to the frozen trolls from earlier and kill them until you have 5 frozen mojos.
• Once you have enough mojos goto 13, 61 and use the elixir.
• Turn in the quest and accept Sacrifices Must be Made.
• Kill serpents until you get the eyes you need.
• Head to the snowy part next to the river and collect snowcaps.
• Head to 15, 36 and find Zimbo and get his mojo.
• Search out the sweetroot in the area.
• Head up the stairs and grab the eye from the seer and then use the elixir at the brazier.
• Turn the quest in.
• Accept Heart of the Ancients.
• Head north torwards Drak'tharon Keep and throw the grog at the scourge there for the quest.
• Head back to the camp and turn in the quests.
• Pick up Say Hello to My Little Friend.
• Head to 38, 32 and go to the top of the platform and turn in the quest.
• Pick up the follow up My Heart is in Your Hands.
• Head down to Drak'atal Passage at 45, 30.
• Kill trolls for 5 desperate mojos.
• Use the elixir and the brazier.
• Turn in the quest and pick up the follow up Voices From the Dust.
• That's the end of this section, we're now moving onto the other alliance base in the zone the Westfall Brigade Encampment.
