Restoration is the healing talent tree for Druids. Talents in this tree focus on restoring your targets life, cutting mana costs of restoration spells, and making these spells heal for more.

Tier 1

Improved Mark of the Wild (5) - Increases the effects of your Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild spells by {7/14/21/28/35}%

  • This isn't a necessary talent, but is considerably more useful than Furor for PvE purposes. It is suggested to spec into this if you are the only Druid in your raid, or if you rarely partake in PvP gameplay

Furor (5) - Gives you {20/40/60/80/100}% chance to gain 10 Rage when you shapeshift into Bear or Dire Bear Form or 40 Energy when you shapeshift into Cat Form.

  • This is primarily a Feral Combat synergy talent. This is also useful in PvP restoration builds, where maximum rage in minimal time is required for Feral Charge Interrupts.

Tier 2

Naturalist (5) - Reduces the cast time of your Healing Touch spell by {0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5} sec and increases the damage you deal with physical attacks in all forms by {2/4/6/8/10}%

  • Another talent primarily used in Feral Combat Builds. Healing touch is not considered a extraordinary useful spell for Druid healers, and is mostly only used in combination with Nature's Swiftness for an instant burst heal

Nature's Focus (5) - Gives you a {14/28/42/56/70}% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while casting the Healing Touch, Regrowth, and Tranquility spells.

  • A necessary talent for any Druid planning on healing. There are many factors in all forms of gameplay that can interrupt your heals, and if you're relying on one of the above spells to get you out of a tight spot, even a tenth of a second lost can mean a wipe.

Natural Shapeshifter (3) - Reduces the mana cost of all shapeshifting by {10/20/30}%

  • Mostly a filler talent, but this can be helpful to the healing Druid in fights that sometimes require quick movement, and the player wants to get back to their Tree of Life form as quick as possible.

Tier 3

Intensity (3) - Allows {10/20/30}% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting and causes your Enrage ability to instantly generate {4/7/10} Rage

  • A necessary talent for any caster Druid. Mana per Five is our lifeblood, and this can add a considerable amount of it.

Subtlety (5) - Reduces the threat generated by your spells by {4/8/12/16/20}% and reduces the chance your spells will be dispelled by {6/12/18/24/30}%

  • Another talent that is normally considered necessary by caster Druids. Low threat output is one of the factors that makes a Restoration Druid desirable over other classes, and any caster DPS needs as much reduced threat as possible so they can output more Damage per Second.

Omen of Clarity (1) - Imbues the Druid with natural energy. Each of the Druid's melee attacks has a chance of causing the caster to enter a Clearcasting state. The Clearcasting state reduces the mana, Rage, or Energy cost of your next damage or healing spell or offensive ability by 100%

  • A necessary talent for the Feral Combat Druid. This lets you cast one -ability- free of mana, rage, or energy. This does not apply to Cat Form finishing moves, as they all do 'added damage with remaining energy.'

Tier 4

Tranquil Spirit (5) - Reduces the mana cost of your Healing Touch and Tranquility spells by {2/4/6/8/10}%

  • Useful as an emergency fallback. The less mana you spend in an emergency situation that would warrant these two spells, the better off you are.

Improved Rejuvenation (3) - Increases the effect of your Rejuvenation spell by {5/10/15}%

  • Another necessary talent for a healing Druid. Rejuvenation should always be on your target, and an added 15% bonus is noticeable.

Tier 5

Nature's Swiftness (1) Requires 3 points in Intensity - When activated, your next Nature spell becomes an instant cast spell

  • A core talent of the Restoration Druid. This is a fallback move. If the tank takes burst damage, it's common to see a Druid use Nature's Swiftness followed by Healing Touch. It is notable that Nature's Swiftness does not activate the Global Cooldown, so it is possible to pull a completely instant Healing Touch or Rejuvenation using this ability.

Gift of Nature (5) - Increases the effect of all healing spells by {2/4/6/8/10}%

  • Another core healer talent. An increase of 10% to all healing done is an amazing buff to your healing ability.

Improved Tranquility (2) - Reduces threat caused by Tranquility by {50/100}%

  • Very useful for Raiding in an emergency situation. With both points filled in, a mob won't even notice you healing your entire raid for massive amounts.

Tier 6

Empowered Touch (2) - Your Healing Touch spell gains an additional {10/20}% of your bonus healing effects

  • A filler talent if you have spare points to spend. As mentioned previously, Healing Touch isn't used often, but in a clutch that extra 20% can mean a lot of health restored.

Improved Regrowth (5) Requires 3 points in Improved Rejuvenation - Increases the critical effect chance of your Regrowth spell by {10/20/30/40/50}%

  • A necessary talent. Since you lack a 'big heal' in Tree of Life form, having a medium heal that crits half the time, and leaves a HoT effect on the target is invaluable.

Tier 7

Living Spirit (3) - Increases your total spirit by {5/10/15}%

  • Necessary for PvE specs, but borderline useless for a PvP build. Spirit only effects Mana Regeneration if you are not in Tree of Life form. It is notable, though, that this can grant a small boon to your healing bonus if there is a Discipline Priest in your raid, and can add a large increase to your longevity and healing power due to Tree of Life's bonus.

Swiftmend (1) Requires 5 points in Gift of Nature - Consumes a Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect on a friendly target to instantly heal them an amount equal to 12 sec. of Rejuvenation or 18 sec. of Regrowth

  • Another core talent. Since it restores the amount healed by the total time of the HoT, it can be used at the end of a Rejuvenation or Regrowth for maximum potential. If you've already blown Nature's Swiftness, this combined with letting Lifebloom tick down can restore a very large amount of Health.

Natural Perfection (3) - Your critical strike chance with all spells is increased by {1/2/3}% and critical strikes against you give you the Natural Perfection effect reducing all damage taken by {1/3/5}%. Stacks up to 3 times. Lasts 8 sec

  • Another necessary talent. All of our heals except for Rejuvenation can crit at one point, and a bigger burst of healing is always better. During Soloing, this is also useful, since if you catch a wrath or moonfire crit, you'll have damage taken reduced by up to 15%.

Tier 8

Empowered Rejuvenation (5) - The bonus healing effects of your healing over time spells is increased by {4/8/12/16/20}%

  • Yet another core talent. 20% bonus to your healing over time spells makes you quite the formidable healer.

Tier 9

Tree of Life (1) - Transforms the Druid into the Tree of Life Form. While in this form you increase healing received by 25% of your total Spirit for all party members within 45 yards, your movement speed is reduced by 20%, and you can only cast Swiftmend, Innervate, Nature's Swiftness, poison cleansing spells, and healing over time spells, but the mana cost of these spells is reduced by 20%. The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects

  • A core talent for a Restoration Druid, and a talent worthy of being our current most involved talent. Though it eliminates the use of Healing Touch, and reduces movement speed, the aura is invaluable for a raiding situation, as it increases healing done to your party by -all- sources.
